I rolled my eyes and chuckled while shaking my head. "I'm Astrid. This is my charming comrade Kimi." I introduced. "She's a human cursed to have the abilities and weaknesses of a vampire, and I'm a vampire with no powers." I explained. "Ah, I see." Garett chuckled.

I put my hands on my chest and acted surprised and shocked, "You think I'm charming? That's a very strange way to pronounce obnoxious."

"Really? That's a funny way to pronounce Dramatic!" I replied, copying her actions and tone of voice.

"Dramatic!" I said, sounding deeply offended, "How could you say such a thing about me?" I then proceeded to fake cry without tears, "I thought we were friends! I guess now I'll have to hang out with Garett, who I definitely wasn't planning on murdering. And you definitely aren't the new focus of my wrath." I paused, with a thoughtful and slightly confused look on my face before adding, "Which wasn't focused on anyone before, especially not Garett." I laughed fake nervously, "I mean, why would I plan on murdering someone who did something as insignificant as most definitely actually hurting my feelings? That would just be stupid." At that last part I began to fake cry again.

Garett and I stared at each other, sharing a look of confusion and awkwardness. "What if Astrid and I stick together and both work together against your wrath?" Garett asked. "Nah, Sorry Gar, But you're a bit boring." I mused before walking away, leaving Garett to chuckle at us.

I followed her, "Okay, let's go and find a secret room and I totally wont lock you in it and leave you to starve! Or dehydrate, which would probably happen first."

"Do you have to be so morbid? You're being dramatic because I called you dramatic. You do realize that." I sighed. "And you called either myself or yourself obnoxious, which would be worse." I added.

I nodded, "Yes, yes I do! And no, I was trying to prove that I am obnoxious, which I clearly didn't do right."

"Whatever." I sighed, tired of her ranting.

"Anyway, let's find a secret passage." I said, fully aware I was probably being super annoying. "Whoever finds one first wins! Something, I have no idea what they'd win."

"Sure you aren't going to use it to hide my body?" I asked, rolling my eyes.

"Now look who's morbid!" I said and shook my head, "Seriously, I would probably use it as a place to kill you without getting caught and then just leave your body there. Or, as I said earlier, I could leave you there to starve. Or I could not tell you where it is and then hide in there and surprise attack you sometime. So many options." I thought for moment before continuing, "I take back what I said, you're not that morbid," I placed my hand on her shoulder, "You still have much to learn, my apprentice."

"I'm not morbid, I'm tense because you threatened to kill me." I sighed.

I rolled my eyes, "I was a joke. Is it really that hard to tell when I'm joking?" I scratched my head, "I should probably fix that."

"People Who are capable of joking about murder are capable of carrying it out." I told her. "I'll just have to cover my pillow in garlic." I added. That's what I used to do when I felt in danger in my village. Since I'm the only vampire that doesn't have an allergy to garlic. Luckily, I can use this to prevent getting killed in my sleep here as well.
