Alya slowly migrated through seats until she was next to Jessica. Thankfully she was pretty well known through the school, so no one minded. Really, the two Brats of Steel could probably get away with murder, if they hadn't already. "Soooo how's your day?"

Jessica heard her voice and looked up to see Ayla sitting beside her. "It's a day." She muttered, rubbing her forehead. "Why do you like me so much anyway?" Jessica then asked, hoping this would throw Ayla off a bit.

Alya opened her mouth and closed it a few times, before answering. "You're intriguing. And new. My limited interactions with those from Gotham haven't been... pleasant." She said with a shrug.

Jessica nodded and sighed in relief. This meant that once she was no longer new and intriguing, the game would be over. However what happened if one spilling gave up before the other? Well... Perhaps she would just admit to the whole game and try to trick them into giving up. "I'm not that pleasant." Jessica told her as she looked at the roof.

"You'd be surprised. Also! You're very sexy." Alya said with a wink. "I can understand why my brother would like you; he falls for charms easily."

Jessica blushed brightly and hid it by resting her head in her arms in the table. "Is that so?" She asked, her voice a bit muffled from her arms but clear enough.

"Yes, very much so." Alya said, trying to get a good view of Jessica's face. Just then the bell rang - and it was time for the two to part ways. For now.

Jessica sighed in relief and zipped quickly out of the classroom for her next class. She stoped at a water fountain and splashed cold water on her face to help calm her blushing before entering her next class.

Alya texted her brother as she headed to her next class. "got her. she mine boi." she texted, snickering as she sent it. Most of her infatuation with Jessica was for the reasons she stated; but some of it was because her brother wanted her, too.

(Meanwhile Ajax is sitting at an ice table, reading the text. "AYLA!!!!!!!"
We zoom out to see the Fortress of Solitude, in all its crystallized glory. "AAYYLLAA!!!!!!!"
We zoom out to see the North Pole. "AAAYYYLLLAAA!!!!!!!!!!!"
We zoom out to the Planet Earth. "AAAAAAAAAYLAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!")
After school, Jessica decided not to go on parole. She had to work on a new batch of that chemical. Besides, running into Crimson was risky right now. -

Alya wandered the city in her costume for a few hours after school but, not spotting Jessica, she decided to run Ajax's homework over to him. It took her a while to get there - she didn't have super speed like he did - but it wasn't too much longer. He practically strangled her when she arrived. "HOW WHAT WHEN WHY." he yelled, as she threw his backpack at him.
