(Okay, but without Ajax, Jessica will know that the competition won't be there to help her keep ahead of Ayla. So she would be avoiding Ayla until Ajax returns.)

The next morning, Jessica set off for school and scanned the crowd for Ayla or Ajax on her way to class.

Alya saw Jessica and bounded over. "Hello hello. How are you today?" She cooed, smiling brightly. The world seemed to shine without her brother there to annoy her. -
Jessica jumped and turned to see Ayla unusually bubbly. This threw Jessica off a bit as she stared at the girl. "Fine... You appear to be in a good mood." She replied before going on her way to class, knowing Ayla would follow her. "Did our little interview meet your expectations well?" She asked with a smirk.

"It did, actually. And thanks for catching those baddies last night. Without you, my brother might have been truthful!" She said with a snicker.

"Just doing my job... Speaking of, where is Ajax?" Jessica asked suspiciously.

"Ah, he cheated, so he's at Dad's old place. I run him his school work while he's there." Alya said nonchalantly. It happened often when Ajax got lazy but competitive.

"Oh? How long will he be gone?" Jessica asked. Since she may or may not have had feelings for the twins, she couldn't risk one of them actually winning her heart. This whole game of hers completely depended on their competition making them look foolish, otherwise this could backfire and end up getting her heart wrapped around Ayla's finger.

"Three days, which will give us some quality time without him ruining it~" She purred out. Her phone buzzed as she received a text.
"I CAN FEEL YOU FLIRTING WITH HER FROM ALL THE WAY OUT HERE YOU BETTER STOP" -
Jessica took advantage of the text and quickened her pace, heading for the girl's bathroom. Once in there, she took out an emergency kit she kept in case there was ever an emergency where she needed to get out of school for a few days. (Evil teacher, bully, bad field trip, etc.) Jessica was having a hard time focusing because of her frustration from the effect the girl's sudden flirting had on her. She accidentally spilt the chemical she made tha would cause her to mimic the symptoms of a terrible fever without actually being sick in her frustration and when she put her hands in front of the scanner to attempt to retrieve it back into the bottle the sink turned on and drained it out, causing Jessica to swear softly under her breath. She returned her chemical bag to her back pack and washed her hands, since the chemical is better when ingested and causes rash with skin contact. "It's okay, you're a bad ass vigilante. How hard can avoiding a meda human who has a crush on you be?" She muttered in false optimism before leaving the bathroom and checking to make sure the coast was clear.

Alya turned off notifications on her phone, and looked up to see Jessica gone. Oh well, she would be in her next class, right? She tugged on her black shirt before leveling her emotions and walking to class.

Jessica headed for class and sat in the same spot she did the other day. She just had to get through this class, then she could fully avoid Ayla.
