Grantor said "I'm not letting you hurt my people. That's what started the war 1000 years ago."
Bart bit the girl to get her to let go and he flew back to Gamma's shoulder. Gamma said "That's still no reason to shoot them. How do we know you killing those animals was necessary?" "It wasn't." said a voice. -
"Wanna talk about unnecessary? Mr. Sick your pigeon on us?" Matilda defended. "Matilda... Look." Sally told her, pointing to the direction of the voice. "Well the bear was necessary. It would have killed her." Matilda explained, pointing to the angel. "Otherwise, it was only one wolf." Matilda defended. "And none of these people are dead. Just passed out. So they will wake up soon and attack again." Matilda added.
-
''It started a war one thousand years ago, and a thousand years later still no war,'' Embla repeated a grin on her lips. ''Seriously, do you know any other way to deal with this?'' Embla questioned, taking out the magazine of her gun. ''You find a way to deal with it, and I'll put the magazine into my pocket so I can't shoot any more Orcs,'' Embla said, placing the magazine into her pocket like she said. ''So you find us a way to get out of an Orc filled village who are all very bloodthirsty and show no mercy,'' Embla said, crossing her arms over her chest.
-
Grantor said "No, but there has to be a better way. My family is in there."
Gamma said "Bart is a Prairie warbler, not a pigeon. And he pecks people he doesn't like." He then heard the voice and asked "What do you mean?" The voice came out of the shadow and was reveled to be an old hooded Dracomorph. He said "I will tell you if you come with me. Along with two others." He used his staff and teleported a random uncorrupted Orc and female Dracomorph to the group. -
Sally frowned at the fact that the bird didn't like her. "I'm sorry." She whispered. She felt a shiver when she saw the man and jumped when the two people showed up. "Must you be so skiddish?" Matilda asked the angel. "Who are you? And why should we trust you?" Matilda asked.
-
Embla adjusted her coat, her brows furrowed from the sudden transportation. ''Well, that was...unexpected, hey big guy,'' Embla began, her finger pointing themselves to the angel, the human and the old Dracomorph. ''You know any of these people?'' She questioned, lifting her brow somewhat confused and, of course curious.
-
Grantor looked at the people that stood before him and said "Not in the slightest."
The wizard told Matilda "I will tell you my identity later." He said to Grantor "Of course you don't. All of you meet only today, but you are all brought together by destiny. Follow me if you wish to know more about the shadow cloud." and he walked back into the forest.
Gamma looked at Bart and shrugged. He did as he was told and followed the wizard. -
"Well, what choice do we have?" Sally asked. "You're naive Angel." Matilda told her. "You're telling me..." Sally sighed. Matilda rolled her eyes and sighed, reluctantly following the old man.
-
With enthusiasm in her step, Embla followed after the old Dracomorph wanting to understand the dark cloud that loomed above. ''Well, since we were all brought by destiny,'' Embla said, a grin on her features. ''We might as well get to know each other,'' Embla said, clearing her throat. ''I'm Embla Nicoline Montesquieu, the Dracomorph of an engineer and upcoming scientist,'' She said, fumbling at the leather wrapped around her hands. ''I'll like to know who's this lovely creation right here,'' Embla stated, looking at the large robot with a bird at its side.
-
Gamma said "I am Gamma, nature loving robot." "I am Grantor and that's all you need to know." The wizard kept walking them deeper into the forest.
-
Sally rolled her eyes. 'Must you be so flirtatious? He's a robot and you barely know him.' She wanted to say. But being a kind person she kept her judgement to herself. "I'm Sally." She told them instead. "I'm Matilda. Great. Now that we all know each other's names, lets sing ABC's." Matilda mocked, feeling like a bunch of kindergarteners. Sally frowned. She wanted to call Matilda out on being rude, but her glowing halo kept her lips shut until she remembered Matilda was her master.
-
''Alright, fine, since you insisted,'' Embla teased, rolling her eyes at Matilda's mockery. ''You know you don't have to be such a stick in the mud,'' Embla said, the leather smacking against her skin. She gazed at Sally, clearly able to see how she dislike Matilda's behavior, or at the very least she assumed so. Embla remained silent, turned her gaze to the elder Dracomorph. ''So, may I ask, where are we going exactly?'' Embla questioned, interested in this secret location he was taking them all to.
-
The wizard said "Patience my young friend. We're almost there." He took them to a secluded campfire with logs all around it. The wizard sat at the head of the fir and said "Please sit and you will learn."
-
"Great. Now we're telling campfire stories." Matilda sighed, sitting down. Sally smiled at the warm fire and sat down to warm herself.
-
''Of course, Matilda would you like to go first?'' Embla asked, disliking this human girl's attitude. Embla happily sat by the fire, looking at the flames flicker. It reminded her of when she would be in her grand dragon form, flames leaving past her lips. Embla leaned back, pressing her hands into the dirt as she leaned against them, her hands supporting her weight.
