"I was just kidding." He laughed, seeing her look at him through the tent window. He finished putting up the poles and smiled at the finished tent. "How'd I do?" He wondered, walking out of the tent. "Well... My parents do it better. But not bad for a first time." He told himself with a satisfied smile.

''I knew that,'' Ashley said, as she cleared her throat. ''I think it looks pretty good since it is my first time camping,'' Ashley mumbled looking at the tent. ''I'm going to get the camera, get ready for a picture in front of the tent,'' Ashley said, smiling as she walked back to the car, grabbing the camera. She walked back, adjusting the settings on the camera. ''After this picture, what's next on our agenda?'' Ashley questioned, zooming in and out on the camera, making sure it was on the highest resolution and good to go.

Carson smiled and put his hands on his hips, making a dramatic pose. "Well you said you wanted to go swimming. But we have to wait another half hour before the hour we have to wait after eating is up. So maybe we can go on a hike?" He suggested.

Ashley smiled at his rather dramatic pose, snapping a picture or two to reminisce later down in life. ''We can go for a hike, that could be nice, or, we can, um,'' Ashley said, thinking for a moment. Hiking, or play cards, if he has any or even twenty questions, I mean there's a lot of things we can do but, what's the most memorable thing we can do together? I don't think hiking is quite memorable, Ashley thought, wanting this first official date to be something to remember. She bit her bottom lip, somewhat lost in thought as she rubbed her thumb over the buttons on her camera.

Carson watched her think. There were many things he wanted to do with her on this trip. Dancing, star gazing, campfire stories/songs, etc. But those were best for night time. Carson smiled. He packed a lot of blankets and pillows so they could sit in the back of his pick up truck to watch the stars. They would have to do something else to pass the time. Carson turned the CD back on and it played the next song. ( To this one he danced in a funny but charming and entertaining manour, -

Ashley laughed at his dancing. Dancing with Carson, she moved with the upbeat rhythm a clear smile on her lips. She wasn't the best dancer but, she wasn't too bad. ''You have a very interesting playlist for this trip,'' Ashley said, a small snicker escaping her lips. -

"You of all people should be used to interesting." He snickered. "To be fair my little brother may have added this song." He added, snickering as he asked over to his radio and played the next song. ( Then he took Ashley's hands and danced to the beat of the song. -
''Of course, I'm with you after all,'' Ashley said, smiling. ''Good song choice from your brother,'' She added, licking her lips. Ashley let out a ring of laughter, as her fingers interlocked with Carson's. Dancing with the beat of the song, her lips mouthed the lyrics of the song, knowing it well.

Carson smiled, clapping Ashley's hands Together whenever the song clapped. He sang along to the song, looking into Ashley's eyes and spinning Ashley around now and then. Carson smiled as he held Ashley close to him. When the instrumental came on, he held her close to him and kissed her.

Ashley laughed at the clapping and her spinning around and round. She smiled, her cheeks dusting with a beautiful rosy pink from being close to Carson. When their lips connected with one another, Ashley released her hold on his hand, moving her own to his shoulders. She closed her eyes, enjoying the sweet kiss.

Carson smiled, kissing her lips firmly. He put a hand in her lovely hair as he kissed her. He pulled away from the kiss and studied her, a charming smile on his lips as he placed his hand on her jawline and stroked her cheek with his thumb.

Ashley smiled and gazed into his eyes. Her hand lifted, wrapping around his wrist gently around the one that rested on her jawline. She rubbed her thumb against the back of his palm. ''I..I, um,'' Ashley said, her cheeks turning red with embarrassment. Is saying I love you too much? Is it too soon? I don't know! But, God he gets my heart racing, and that smile, oh that smile, Ashley thought, clearing her throat as she averted her gaze to the lake.

Carson studied the look in her eyes and looked at her curiously as she looked away. He brought his lips to her ear and let them linger for a bit. "I love you." He whispered, kissing her jawline. -
She held her breath as she listened to Carson's words. ''I-I love you too,'' Ashley stammered. Her heart was racing and she was loving the gentle kiss on her jawline. She was fine with being this close to Carson, being in his arms. Ashley wrapped her arms around Carson's neck, somewhat leaning her head to the side, giving him more access to her jawline and neck. She swallowed a lump in her throat as she blushed.

Carson smiled, kissing down her jawline and neck. He kissed the area where her throat would be and kissed around it. Then he kissed up the jawline and kissed her cheek before kissing her lips again.
