Carson blinked and stopped himself from reacting. Well... Good thing Carson made that a good night... Because he would never have a night like it again. "Okay... I'm sure it will work out." He told her, putting the eggs on her plate before serving it and making his own eggs.
-
Ashley lifted her head up from her hands, eyes shifting to the plate of her food. She picked at a string of thread from her clothing at that seemed to have come loose. Ashley shifted her gaze from Carson to the food, then back to her leggings. She cleared her throat, still embarrassed about his words, her eyes shifting to the trees. ''K-Kidding,'' Ashley whispered underneath her breath. She was sure she was addicted to Carson, not only enjoying last night but, carving for another round. At the thought of it, she crossed her legs and twirled the string of thread, embarrassed.
-
Carson smiled and chuckled at her shyness. He ate his meal and listened to the birds awaken. "If I die and reincarnation is a thing, I would want to come back as a bald eagle." He thought out loud. "Majestic, strong, brave, and since they are endangered people protect them. I'd live up in the mountains and if someone bugs me I'll just fly off somewhere." He explained. "Then I'll die by some stupid way like crashing beak first into a plane, you know. Cause I'm smart like that. And then I'll wind up as a bloody human again." Carson joked.
-
Ashley began eating her meal, listening to his words. ''What's wrong with being a homo sapien?'' Ashley questioned a giggle escaping her lips. ''Well, I can tell you that you're strong and brave enough to take me out in the woods with bears,'' Ashley said, laughing as she took a bit of her bacon. ''I mean, now that I'm thinking about it, what if a bear comes and smells the food, definitely having some interest in eating some?'' Ashley mumbled, her eyes scanning the trees. ''Um, erm, just because you're a bald eagle coming with those traits, won't you get bored just being by yourself?'' Ashley said, poking at the sausages with her fork.
-
"I'm not afraid of the bears. They are more afraid of us. Did you know that there are only two specious that kill or attack with no reason? I'm talking no reason. No reasons like Starvation, fear, mental illnesses, illnesses, anger, etc. No reason at all. There are only two creatures on earth that will kill without any reason." Carson told her. "It May surprise you which two." He added.
-
Ashley smiled at Carson's knowledge, and listened to his words intently. ''Alright, educate me,'' Ashley said, gesturing for Carson to continue. Ashley stabbed her sausage with her fork, picking up the sausage and eating it. She shifted her gaze to Carson, wanting to hear more about what he knows.
-
"Humans and, brace yourself, dolphins." Carson told her. He then paused and wondered how she would react. "It's surprising, I know. They are also the only creatures that are known to help others when they have every reason not to. It's interesting how that works." Carson told her.
-
''I'm not surprised, aren't humans and dolphins similar with one another? What books do you read to learn all this or is this information helping you reach your dream career, becoming a super hot forest ranger,'' Ashley said, a grin on her lips.
-
"I read Ripleys Believe it or Not for random fun facts. Animal facts I get on wiki or in books." Carson told her, smiling at her comments. "Hmm... Now that you mention it maybe I shouldn't be a forest ranger. We already have enough forest fires going on without someone with with my good looks going in there." He joked with a chuckle.
(I'm real life my source is my Dad. No idea what his source is.) -
Ashley laughed at his joke, a grin om her lips. ''I'm sure people won't mind, especially when you got a handsome face, they'll figure you,'' Ashley said with a wink. ''It must be nice, you know what you're aiming for after high school or secondary school,'' Ashley said, not quite used to the England customs. ''Do you have your whole life planned out?'' Ashley questioned, teasing a bit.
-
"Yup. Our wedding, how many kids we'll have, and our future house if the Peterson's die before I propose." Carson teased with a grin. "I mean, something that sounds less creepy, stalkish, and morbid with a charming smile." Carson pretending to correct himself, chuckling at his own jokes.
-
Ashley laughed at his jokes, and pulled at the button up top. ''Our wedding, kids, and a house, huh?'' Ashley mumbled, thinking about it. It was far too soon to think of such thing as they just started dating. She bit on her bottom lip, the thought erasing and being replace with horrid ideas of their break up, she had a feeling it was bound happen. Ashley cleared her throat and shifted in her place a bit, trying to clear her head.
-
"Sorry... I guess I let my humour get the jest of me." Carson chuckled. Saying Jest, which meant joke, instead of Best. Carson stayed silent, wondering if she would catch on.
-
Ashley smiled and gave him a kiss on the cheek. ''It's fine if you see an actual future with me, this early on in the relationship,'' Ashley mumbled, licking her lips. ''It just makes me happy but, if you have the wedding, our kids, and a house already planned out what about you proposing?'' Ashley questioned, eyebrow raised in curiosity.
-
"Shh. That ones supposed to be a surprise." He told her with a smirk. "And just so you know I was joking." Carson added with a chuckle. He normally goes with the flow of what's going on around him. Carson only has his future career planned. But that can still change. He just saw an opportunity for a joke when she asked if he had his entire life planned.
