Noelle chuckled at Chelsy's behavior. She mouthed a small thank you to the little demanding girl. ''Well,'' Noelle said, facing the woman. ''That is true, family reunions the heart of chaos and gossip,'' Noelle said with a snicker.

Chelsy smiled as her food was brought to her. Wheres my cookie!?! She whined. We get cookies!?! Valery cheered. No! Olivia said sternly. Avery sighed, rolling his eyes. I want a cookie! Chelsy yelled at Avery. You ate all the cookies! Andy chuckled to his daughter. Fine. Then I want ice cream! Chelsy demanded. Can I have ice cream? Valery pleaded. No. Olivia told Valery even more sternly. Unless its soy milk, sugar free ice cream. Olivia told Avery. I think you gave me some of that stuff for Christmas. Almost thought you did it to be nice. Avery chuckled. Olivia glared at him and Valery looked hopeful for the ice cream.

Noelle frowned at Olivia's parenting. A kind, gentle discipline would've been fine. She'll have to treat Valery to some sweets without Olivia's knowledge. Seriously, what a b---- Noelle thought, turning her gaze to her phone only to see yet again another text from her editor.

"Yay!" Valery cheered when the sugar free, soy milk ice cream was given to her. "The best part is that Chelsy has to wait until after dinner for hers. But you can eat yours with your dinner because yours is healthy and tasty!" Olivia told Valery. Valery smiled as Olivia made her plate. Peas, corn, some turkey, and cranberry sauce.

Noelle sighed as she continued discussing about her new book with her editor. Soon after, receiving text after text. She had pushed her plate further in front of her not wanting to eat the chef's saliva or poison. Noelle glared at her phone at the thought, her fingers taping at the phone faster.

"You okay?" Andy asked.

''I'm fine, my editor is just going on about appointments and my new book,'' Noelle said, smiling. ''Nothing to worry about,'' She hummed, facing her phone again, continuing to place her full attention on the bright screen before her.

"Would you like me to make you a plate?" Andy asked.

Noelle didn't want to be rude and refuse a plate of food, especially with Andy's mother beside her. ''Sure, thank you, Andy,'' She said, a smile on her lips. ''I appreciate it,'' Noelle said, opening up memo as she began typing the general idea for the next chapter.

"So what's your book about dear?" Andy's mom asked as Andy put turkey and mashed potatoes on her plate. "Would you like gravy?" Andy asked Noelle.

''My book is based on a young female protagonist, where the more evil deeds the darker the shade of blood becomes, and you see evil deeds are based from person to person, as with birth, they're blood is white, like milk,'' Noelle said with a smile. ''Eventually, as time goes on and she grows to know how cruel the world is and with some unfortunate events happens to make her blood as dark as possible,'' Noelle added, turning her full attention to Andy's mother. ''That's all I can tell you, the rest has to remain a secret or I'm just going to continue babbling about the story,'' Noelle said, laughter escaping her lips until she heard Andy. ''Gravy, please,'' Noelle said, smiling at him.

Andy smiled. "Say when." Andy told her, pouring a slow and steady stream of gravy over her meal.

Noelle squirmed in her place, sexual thoughts filling her mind. ''Y-You can stop,'' Noelle whispered, clearing her throat. ''Thanks, Andy,'' She hummed, her lips curving into a smile.

Andy stopped the gravy and put the pot down. "You okay?" Andy asked when he saw Noelle's discomfort.

''Oh,'' Noelle murmured, licking her lips. ''I'm fine,'' She said, as she began to eat her meal. A text from Braden caused her phone to chime. Glancing down at her phone, Noelle read the text. Cancelled your night at the hotel, hope for you to come home soon, Elle. I love you the text read as Noelle cringed from it. Guess I'll sleep in my car Noelle thought, continuing to eat her food.
