Archaios looked down "im...not sure" he said softly as his tail twitched, his ears folding back

"I'm going to have to get that flute and lock it away." Laura added. "It's more dangerous than I thought..." She blurted.

Archaios blinked at her and tilted his head

"Anyways, here we are!" Laura cheered as they arrived at the lake. "You aren't exactly in good shape for swimming... So... There isn't much to do here." She added.

Archaios smiled faintly as he looked at the lake "its pretty though" he said

Laura smiled. "Yeah..." she replied, staring at the lake. She remembered her fathers funeral as she stared at the lake. She used a line from a movie as the speech. The line was about a hero who had won a fight, telling a little boy to go tell his mama that everything was safe now. Laura smiled. She hoped that her father was at peace...

Archaios looked over at her and tilted his head curiously before his ears twitched and he looked over at some ducks

Laura smiled. She sat down on the grass and ayes down, looking at the clouds. A few looked like hearts. One looked like a cat. Another looked like a lion.

Archaios smiled happily as he watched the ducks before he suddenly yawned, blushing slightly

Laura giggled in response to his yawn. "Tired already? It's not even lunch yet." She teased with a smirk. Though it was reasonable for Archaios to be tired. Considering his state.

Laura smiled as she watched him. "Your parents abondoned you... So did mine. But he did it to protect me." Laura told him, as she looked at the sky. "Just like I was trying to protect you." She added.

Archaios looked down at his feet and fell silent, a sad look on his face "why would you want to protect a demon?" he asked softly, barely loud enough to be heard

"You aren't a demon." Laura replied, sitting up. "If anything you're an angel." She blurted, blushing. "Uh... I mean... Cause... You're a good friend..." She added, blushing. Her voice was flustered so she stopped talking.

"If you say so" he said as he looked at the lake again, his eyes glowing faintly
