Laura smiled. "Yeah. That could be possible. Though... Other than her love of books, Chelsea doesn't seem like Derek's type." Laura replied. "The last girlfriend he had was a cyborg that has a culture similar to the Vulcans on Star Trek. But she broke up with him when he left his parents." Laura told Archaios. "Chelsea is no where near the kind of logic Derek enjoys. So I don't understand why he would like her. But then again... Who knows how much of his personal interest he really shares." Laura added.

Archaios tilted his head in confusion "star trek?" he asked

"It's a tv show... A Vulcan is a creature that follows logic. Pure logic." Laura explained. She wondered what it would be like... To not have emotion. To not feel rage, trauma, sadness, grief, anger... However... You wouldn't be able to feel love.

Archaios frowned softly "oh." he said softly "sounds boring

"Actually, Vulcans love the way they live. However occasionally there is a half Vulcan half human. Their lives aren't always fun." Laura told Archaios.

He shrugged in response to her question -
"There's a training room. Obviously you can't train in your condition. But we can also watch others train. There's a movie theatre, a large back yard with a lake and hiking trail, a lounge, a cafeteria, a breakfast room, or we could visit the other students." Laura told him.

Archaios blinked and tilted his head in thought "can we go see the lake

"Sure!" Laura replied. They walked out the exit. "We'll have to go down the trail." She explained, gesturing to the sandy trail.

Laura looked at the sky as they walked down the trail. "Why... Why didn't you stay in the car like I told you to?" Laura asked, frowning and blushing as she made herself look at Archaios.
