Archaios looked at her as his ears lowered "you didnt do anything. It was my choice to come with you and its becuse of that that i got hurt. " he said softly as he watched her "and you are what you want to be. Your choices make you who you are.".

Laura smiled. "That's what my grandfather said... But I don't know anymore..." She sighed.

Archaios tilted his head in thought before he said "the wandering soul knows no rest"

Laura blushed. She tucked her hair beneath her ears and stood up. "I... I can show you around the mansion once we find your room." Laura offered.

Archaios blinked at her and smiled "ok"

Laura smiled as Logan returned. "Okay Archaios! You'll be sharing a room with Richard. He's a shape shifter as well. Normally he shares his room with his sister. But Matilda is on vacation this month." Logan told Archaios.

Archaios looked at him and nodded in understanding "ok" he said softly

Laura followed them as they walked to Archaios's room. The doorknob was made of wood instead of metal. Inside the room there was noticeabally no metal in the room. There were two beds, two dressers, two shelves, a family picture in between the two beds, two computers some how made of wood, and a green and grey rug in the middle. The room had complete, 100% symmetry. Not a single thing was out of order. A boy sat at his wooden computer.

Archaios blinked as hhe looked around the room, confused as to why everything was wood

"Derek also controls metal. Everything is wood in this room so that nothing gets broken if something goes wrong." Logan explained. At the mention of his name, the boy with blue skin and short red hair turned to them. "Hello." He greeted in a monotone voice.

Archaios waved shyly "hi" he said quietly

"Hello." Derek repeated. "I'm Derek. You're Archaios? I'm your roommate." Derek greeted. "I didn't tell you that yet." Logan told him. "I know. You don't tell me anything. So I hacked into the intercoms." Derek said. His voice seemed to always be monotone.

Archaios smiled faintly and nodded, his tail twitching

"Well... Tension aside... Derek may seem... Odd at first. And his OCD can be a pain in the-" Logan began. "I'm right here. You do know that right?" Derek replied crossly. "BUT... He is very supportive when it counts." Logan told Archaios. "Understatement." Derek muttered, returning to his computer. "You like Matilda though. Don't you Logan?" Derek added, rolling his eyes. Logan frowned and left the room. "Make yourself at home!" He told Archaios as he walked down the hall.

Archaios laughed softly and watched logan leave before looking back over at Derek
