Zack soon layed down as he ran a hand through his hair.He sighed as he closed his eyes and tried to sleep but couldn't.Derek was already resting peacefully and Zack kept switching positions to at least get comfortable.

Her mind and heart were racing as she continued reading the letters. Some letters were complaints of their taxes going to waste in the military's funds, others were statements of their town being destroyed by the stationed guards. Hendrina sigh, writing letters back to the folk as she continued to feel her heart thumping in her chest. ''This is a bother.'' Hendrina groaned. The princess' life wasn't as she had dreamt it to be when younger it was rather different. Hendrina continued writing until she soon came across a written letter from her mother. The letter had few concerns of the elves within the castle, suggesting changes and increases of guards. Hendrina's schedule for the next day seemed to be quite the mess. With a groan, Hendrina began her organizing.

Zack soon started to softly sing to himself as he stared at ceiling with a blank look on his face.He then closed his eyes and hummed the rest of the song before letting sleep consume him.

With the work completed, Hendrina stood from her green cushioned chair her feet touching the soft carpet. Blowing out the candles Hendrina laid underneath her sheets as she stared into the emptiness of her white ceiling. The moonlight settled into the room from the large windows as Hendrina heard nothing but her breathing and heartbeat. The soothing rhythm caused Hendrina to fall into a deep sleep.

Timeskip to morning
Zack woke up and winced when the sun hit his face.Groaning,He sat up and yawned as he rubbed his eyes.He then looked over,once he heard Derek get up out of his bed and started to fix his bed.Zack soon got up and started to fix up his bed. -
The rising sun's light settled itself inside Hendrina's room awakening the tired princess. She could hear the faint sound of running, fresh water through the pipes inside her bathroom. Following the ever so soothing sound, Hendrina collected her dazed form. Her bare feet touched the cold tiles as she held the bathroom door's knob with her hand. ''Ms. Flemming, good morning.'' Hendrina hummed to her personal maid, Linda Flemming. She adored the maiden for her cutesy and optimistic persona. The woman had pink colored hair and the brightest blue eyes. ''Good morning, Princess! It's about time you have awoken.'' Linda chuckled as she smiled. ''Since you're up, you should be able to bathe, yourself no? I'll prepare your morning outfit.'' Linda said as Hendrina followed the maid's orders. Slipping out of her nightgown, Hendrina placed the tainted clothing into the basket full of other clothing materials. Hendrina slipped into the bath, ridding herself of filth. Washing her tensed form and violet locks. With the smell of lavender filling her nose Hendrina felt at peace.
''Madam Hendrina, I have your outfit prepared. I'll be seeing if breakfast is prepared.'' Linda spoke in her melodic voice as the door closed with a soft click confirming her departure. Silence filled the air with the absence of Linda. Soap covered water surrounded Hendrina's body. With the water cold as ice Hendrina stayed within the water for a moment longer. With no words said, Hendrina prepared herself for the day. The sound of the splashing water filled her ears as Hendrina drained the water in the bathtub. Cleansed from dirt, Hendrina eyed the room for a bit until settling them on the dress laying on top of her bed. Hendrina's irises scanned over the style of the selected dress. Her chest was to be covered by a rounded shape hem as the smooth fabric was covered in a patterned lace. The dress had a main color of white as the primary was an enchanting red. The chest piece and the main base of the dress were white and covered in patterns. Her torso was covered in four small bows all in the familiar red color. Her sleeves were too covered in red. The second base had a wide look to it much like a formal gown. Hendrina smiled as she adored the beautiful dress. Looking at the matching heels Hendrina noticed the small two bows that settled at the fronts of her heels. The heels themselves were a pure white as the bows are the similar red color the dress had. Hendrina slipped into the dress and heels, enjoying the feel of the fabric. Brushing back the locks of purple to have the side locks of her hair pushed back into a braid as the rest remained loose. Hendrina felt quite beautiful within the adoring outfit. All for her to do was to apply light makeup. -
Zack did one last stretch before he went take a shower to help him relax a bit for today.He striped off his clothes and got into the shower,sighing in bliss as the slight warm water hit his body and started to clean up himself,a smell of a mix of lavender and peppermint filled the bathroom.Derek had already gotten freshed up for today and had on a Gold and white elven clothing and started to fix up his white bowtie"your clothes are already in the bathroom,Sire".Zack turned off the water and dried off with a towel and then started to get dressed.He then made sure that he was noticeable and that his gold and green elven clothes were straight.He then adjusted his gold bowtie and then fix up his hair before leaving the bathroom and walked towards Derek,who was waiting for him at the door.Derek then started to fix Prince Zack's bowtie since it wasn't straight.

With the finishing touches of Hendrina's makeup, she adored her facial features within the mirror. The sudden burst of confidence caused the maiden to smile at her reflection in the mirror. The shuffling papers across her desk were gathered and placed within a small folder labeled 'Confidential'. With a joyful heart, Hendrina stepped out of her bedroom glancing down the hall. With her feet carrying her away to the staircase, Hendrina hummed a tune to keep her thoughts functioning. The steps the maiden took made the staircase creak and moaned underneath her weight. Descending down the stairs, Hendrina arrived at the harem's level where the men stayed. The hallway was full of the men's chatter as the men talked amongst themselves. Her heels clicked against the wooden boards with the steps she took. Arriving in front of the elves' bedroom door she took a deep breath before knocking on the door. Taking a step back from the door, Hendrina smiled awaiting the faces of the elves.
As Hendrina's grip of the folder loosened by the sudden surprise of arms wrapping themselves around her waist. Feeling herself stiffen on instinct Hendrina felt lips attack the sides of her neck. ''Mr. Ares,'' Hendrina crooked out as she placed her free hand over one of his arms. ''Good morning princess. You look quite beautiful this morning. What's the occasion?'' The man questioned. The words he spoke of caused his well-built chest to rumble with each word. With the rumbling sensation caused Hendrina to have a shiver sent down her spine. Her cheeks flushed a bright red as her irises were set onto the wooden door before her. -
Derek soon opened the door and then blinked at them."Salutations Princess Hendrina..and Mr.Ares."He said in an emotionless tone as he bowed his head at Princess Hendrina, respectfully.Zack glanced over at Princess Hendrina and then slightly narrowed his eyes at Mr.Ares before putting a silver necklace with a blue Sapphire in the center around his neck and looked back at the mirror.

''Hello. Prince Zack, Mr. Derek.'' Ares said as his lips curved into a smirk. The man rested his head atop of Hendrina's as she flashed the man a smile. ''Ah, hello. I'm here to escort you both to the dining hall. Are you two prepared to leave?'' Hendrina asked as she felt the shuffling of the man behind her. Running his fingers through his thin locks, Ares smiled feeling accomplishment. ''May I join you, princess?'' Ares questioned as he grasped her hand, running his fingers over her knuckles. ''Of course Ares. Is that alright with you two?'' She questioned, her voice low.

Derek nodded his head and forced a small smile and then looked over at Prince Zack.Zack ignored Ares's smirk and just stayed silent but nodded his head slightly.He wore an stoic expression as he placed his hands at his side.Derek then lead Zack out of the room and closed the door behind them.

''Prince Zack,'' Hendrina whispered as she moved away from Ares. The Prince's expression caused the maiden to have a worry feel against her chest. He scoffed in what seemed to be jealousy as the princess approached the elf. She placed her hand onto his bicep, a frown plastered on her lips. ''Is something the matter? Is it Ares or was it something you said to me before our separation?'' Hendrina mumbled, wishing to bring his statement from yesterday back up. She wanted to give him some sense of encouragement but, Hendrina couldn't seem to find the words to say so.

Zack didn't say anything for a few seconds as he looked at her hand on his bicep."......both...."He grumbled as he still had the stoic expression on his face.Derek folded his arms across his chest as he raised an eyebrow at Ares and muttered"Jealous much Mr.Ares?"

''I-I see,'' Hendrina whispered, placing her hands at her sides. ''Mr. Derek,'' Groaned Ares as he fumbled with the hem of his dark blue jacket. ''I have nothing to be jealous for.'' He replied a smile gracing his lips. ''Prince Zack, I don't understand why you have such views towards yourself. Anyone would like an elf such as yourself.'' Hendrina let the words pass her lips, a small nervous laugh escaping as well. ''You're a gentleman, you care for your people. I cannot see why anyone wouldn't enjoy your company! You have a peaceful atmosphere. Prince Zack, you have a good heart. You're selfless. You gave your love life for your people to create endless peace. You're willing to marry me just for the sake of innocent lives. I wouldn't have dreamed of doing such a thing in all my days.'' Hendrina rambled, her cheeks flushing. ''I have met you in just a day and I could just ramble on about you, Zack. So, don't speak of yourself as if you're a piece of trash lying on the streets. You're a prince, after all, treat yourself like one.'' Hendrina said, her voice low almost to a whisper.

Zack didn't say anything at first since he was kinda shocked about what Princess Hendrina has spoken to him.His stoic expression was soon replaced with a more cheerful one and lets a small smile appear on his lips"I respect your words towards me,Princess Hendrina..and I might not be the one charm you like Me.Ares but I have loyalty as an elf to not lay a hand on you since I have respect towards the opposite gender...".Derek hummed softly and placed his hands behind him.
