The princess lifted her head at the mention of her name. Cheeks flushing Hendrina landed her gaze to the prince. ''Bother about something?" She repeated, the words lingering in her head. ''N-No, it's nothing at all. Please don't worry. Just enjoy the ride.'' Hendrina said. Listening to her tone and choice of words, Hendrina sighed. She sounded as if she was lying but, continued with her blank stare. The maiden pressed her head against the cushions as her thoughts continued to be an annoyance.
-
Zack frowned in concern and knew that something was going on with Princess Hendrina but decided not to put more pressure on her."It's alright if you don't want to tell me,Princess..I won't put more pressure on you.."He said softly and closed his eyes.
-
Lips pressed into a firm line due to the words the prince said. The silence remained within the carriage until an abrupt knock was heard from the front where Phoebe sat. ''Princess, we'll be at town's square quite soon.'' The golden-eyed woman mused. Bringing her hand to the laced curtain she could see the many women, men, and children across the streets. The men tried charming the woman as they laughed at whatever the men said. Hendrina could see the various items being sold within towns square in the markets. Squeaking wheels were put to a stop as a movement were heard. The door to the carriage was opened showing the many folks scattered around the streets. ''We arrived, Princess Hendrina. The public speaking won't be happening until later. If you wish you could do so shopping.'' Phoebe said, a grin plastering on her lips. ''Maybe even better princess, a date with the Prince,'' Phoebe said her smile only growing. A laugh erupted from her lips as Hendrina's cheeks flushed red. ''M-Mrs. Phoebe!'' Hendrina groaned. Her heels clicked against the flooring as she climbed out of the carriage. The maiden's gaze landed on the various items being sold within the markets. With a sigh, Hendrina fidgeted within her place, keeping an eye out for suspicious folk.
-
Derek soon got out of the carriage as he dusted of his clothes before helping Prince Zack out of the carriage.Zack blushed faintly and lets out a soft sigh before he followed Princess Hendrina with Derek walking not far behind him.
-
''What would you two like to do for the time being?'' Hendrina questioned. Her fingers interlacing with her own, Hendrina glanced around trying recall fun activities. ''We could visit the bakery, perhaps the book store, or even go to the fountain where the public speaking is meant to be held.'' She mused. Each activity she spoke of was counted on her finger as her eyebrows creased. Her expression showed her focus on her memories, trying to call back things she did whilst in town.
-
"Can we go to the bakery?"Zack asked as he smiled brightly, liking the thought off seeing different kinds of sweets.Derek chuckled at Prince Zack immediate interest in seeing the bakery.
-
Hendrina nodded as she heard the soft sound of clattering metal. Turning her head she could see Mr. Ares Kokinos within his armor. His ruby locks ruffled and his eyes full of anger, jealousy. ''Mrs. Hendrina, Mr. Zack, and Mr. Derek, I'll be escorting you all. The request was made by the queen herself in which I cannot disobey.'' Ares said, his voice lacing with fake politeness. He seemed still angered by his argument with the prince. Directing his gaze to the princess, he flashed her a charming smile. ''May I remind you, my dearest, Hendrina. You're as beautiful as ever.'' Ares hummed.
-
Zack had a blank look on his face as his eyes darken at Ares.'I'm surprised that he showed his face here but I can see he is still angry with our little argument and I really don't give two s---s about it either.'He thought.Derek gave a fake smile as he was still a bit angry at Mr.Ares for choking Prince Zack during their argument but stayed silent.

''I understand, General Kokinos.'' The maiden groaned as pointed into the field of witches who formed a large crowd. ''This way to the bakery,'' Hendrina stated as Ares created a passageway for them. Past the folk, the witches continued about their business until eyes settled on the princess. Their gazes were mixes of hatred, remorse, gratification, or a pure sense of fear toward her. The whispers and taunts were filling her ears as she picked up her pace. Ignoring the voices surrounding Hendrina, the maiden stood beside the general. With a feeling of being victorious knowing well the princess felt safe in Ares' presence he snickered.
''Why are you here? I would have suspected you be in the infirmary for quite some time.'' Hendrina stated, her voice low so she doesn't cause chaos within the crowd. ''What do you see me as? Some weak man?'' Ares questioned as Hendrina looked down at her dress in shame. ''It was just a quarrel between us. Just a misunderstanding. I do apologize for early, madam. I was being irrational.'' He said, leaning close to her ear. ''I was jealous, I have seen you with some other men before. Especially when you're around Lord William. Therefore, I only wished to have the Prince know what's he signing up for.'' Ares groaned having a strong dislike to the man, Lord William. -
Zack huffed softly at Ares as he followed them to the bakery, his arms folded firmly across his chest.'What do you mean you wish only for me to know what I'm signing up for?I don't give a damn if your jealous...I will find a way to have her be with me..'He thought as he clenched his hands into fists.Derek continued to followed them without say a word but he did had a slight frown on his face.

The sign of the bakery was of beautiful pinks and blues. The bakery was rather small as it was squeezed between two popular stores. A small old woman, with gray hairs, mixed well with chocolate brown and hazel eyes. Wrinkles were visible on her face as she smiled brightly to the princess. ''Ah, Princess Hendrina.'' She exclaimed settling down her watering can by the flowers. ''How are you, darling? I see you brought Mr. Kokinos.'' The little old woman laughed, arms wrapping around the princess. Returning the gentle hug, Hendrina smiled. ''Yes, it was upon my mother's request.'' She hummed, the little old woman turned her gaze to the elves. ''Oh, Elven folk. What a nice surprise as long as they have money!'' She said, analyzing them.
Hendrina turned her attention to the Elven men and smiled. ''Ah, yes. Ms. Eden Ramsey. This is Prince Zack and his butler, Mr. Derek.'' She hummed. ''We took a trip to town's square to be able to run a few errands.'' Hendrina lied, a smile still plastered on her lips. ''Of course, of course, come in side, darlings!'' Eden said, holding the wooden door open. The bell near the door rang once opened and by the counter was a younger man. His familiar brown locks tickled his eyebrows and forehead, his lilac irises full of life. ''Grandma, Princess Hendrina? What's going on?'' He questioned, eyes directed to the Elves. The boy didn't snarl or growl but, seemed quite upset at his rather naive grandmother. -
"It's a pleasure to meet you,Ms.Eden Ramsey, you have a lovely bakery"Zack said as he placed a hand on his chest and bowed in a formal way.Derek bowed as he smiled"Indeed. It is a beautiful bakery,Ms.Ramsey".Zack then noticed the younger male looking at them but didn't say anything except give a slight smile.
-
''The pleasure is all mine.'' The little old woman mused with a smile. Listening to the man, Eden laughed at his compliment. ''Should've of seen it when the Queen was once a princess. Those times were wonderful, this bakery and Kingdom once to be full of such beauty.'' Her voice low and soft. A soft tap of pencil connecting with a counter. The boy behind the counter had his hands pressed firmly against the cool material. He drummed his thin fingers against the counter. Holt Ramsey was the grandson of Eden Ramsey. Holt's eyes were squinted with slight disgust. ''Grandmother Eden Evelyn Ramsey.'' Holt groaned as his elbow touched his counter, his head resting in his palm. ''Yes, Holt Edward Ramsey.'' She chuckled. Eden made her way behind the counter, wiping her hands on her apron the woman laughed.
''Elf. Elven people. Why are they here?'' He didn't mean to sound offending. It was rare. Elves were known for being illegal immigrants often to end up being executed by the princess herself. ''Don't we have laws for illegal Elves?'' The grandson questioned to the princess. ''Apologies. You must not know.'' Hendrina mentioned her smile flattering. ''This is Prince Zack and Mr. Derek. They have the King's permission to be within the kingdom.'' Holt stiffened at her words. -
Zack frowned deeply and then lets out a sigh before turning towards Ms.Ramsey,a soft smile on his face as he went into his pocket"Do you have anything sweet,Like a pie?I have the money on me right now."He said with a tint of shyness in his voice.Derek hummed as he nodded his head at Princess Hendrina's words.
-
''Something sweet? Of course, we have pie, sweetheart!" Eden laughed. Tapping at the glass Eden showed the various pies. The old woman looked at Hendrina with a smile. ''Oh, Rina. What would you like this time something sweet as well?'' Eden questioned. Hendrina smiled, her hands together as she licked her lips. ''The red velvet cake, please.'' She said. A soft rumble of laughter heard. ''Of course, Princess,'' Holt said with a hum of amusement. ''Anything you would like sir?'' Holt said his attention to the butler.
