''Glad you feel that way.'' Ares said as he sent a smirk in Zack's direction. ''I'm here you know! I can here you talking crap about me!'' Growled Elliott. With a chaste kiss to Hendrina's cheek, Ares said his brief farewell to the Princess. Soon Ares was standing by the drug dealer. ''Next we have is Alexander Larson.'' The man with silk ginger hair and hazel eyes approached the prince. Hand stretched out for the man. ''Alexander Larson, the legalized informant for the Hiria's Empire, the pleasure is all mine dear sir.'' A smile graced his lips as he continued forth. ''May mother is the ambassador for the kingdom as my father is the assistant to the king.'' He chuckled. ''I do hope you bring up quite the fight for the maiden's heart.'' Alexander said, a smug smirk gracing his lips.
-
"And I'm going to continue talking crap about you since you are the only one who isn't acting like a true Lord!"Derek said as he smirked slyly.Zack smirked back at Alexander and shook his hand"I can assure you that I will,Sir Alexander"
-
''How rude! Have that attitude towards the princess that'll send you to your grave.'' Elliott laughed, no longer wishing to speak with the servant. ''Good, I don't like to win so easily.'' Alexander smirked releasing his firm grasp on Zack's hand. As he soon approached the princess bowing before her as he smiled. "My dearest, Princess Hendrina.'' Alexander hummed, grasping the Hendrina's hand, placing a small kiss to her knuckles. Walking towards the man, Ares to create conversation another rival was called. ''Samuel Lawrence is our next competitor, please introduce yourself sir.'' The said man, Samuel silver locks of hair and blue eyes. He was much taller than a few, taller than Elliott at the very least. He ran his fingers through his long silver hair as he approached the prince. ''Hello, elf. I'm sorry to offend you, Prince Zack but, I do not like the idea of the witch princess of Hiria marrying the likes of you. If you wish to keep your kingdom safe you may want to follow the rules and listen to my dear Hendrina.'' His words were simple. ''Curfew is arriving soon, please finish your introduction Sir Lawrence.'' Xavier warned.
''My mother owns a brothel as my father owns a well business that supports the kingdom's fundings and my mother's brothel. I help with the financials here within the kingdom.'' Samuel continued as he scoffed. ''If we don't talk business or create any relationship that helps in my benefit, please don't bother with me'' He warned as he glared at the Butler. ''As I don't need any smart remark, I'll kill you if need. I'm sure the princess wouldn't want to hear you speak such language. Though, if you wish to be kind go ahead and no consequences will follow.'' Samuel said. He was to be the one of more business rather than much else, he was reasonable. -
"Being offended in one day is started to get a bit boring to me"Zack mused as he had a look on his like he didn't really care about Samuel's words towards him."I can see that you mean business by the way you talk but me speaking such language to Princess Hendrina, especially when she has suggested to give us a tour around the castle,I wouldn't even dare to say anything like this towards her..."Derek said as he placed a hand on his chest and did a quick respectful bow towards Princess Hendrina before standing.
-
Hendrina smiled as she nodded towards Xavier. ''Thank should be all. The elves have met Albert and William. We shall not announce the whereabouts of William.'' Hendrina said to Xavier as he nodded. The loud bells of the castle rang, leaving the sound linger within the walls. ''Curfew hour. All shall be dismissed.'' Xavier stated, the men all leaving the ballroom. The guards traded their stations with others as they were all tired and heading to attend their needs. ''Xavier, please give these two men their access passes.'' Hendrina commanded as Xavier nodded, handing them a white slip with golden trimming. The bold letters read 'ACCESS PASS' and the smaller text was more needed for a guard's understanding. ''Well, do you wish for me to escort you to your sleeping quarters?'' Hendrina asked the two as Xavier headed off to his own room.
-
Zack admired the Access pass and soon nodded to Princess Hendrina's question."I am feeling quite tired.."He said as he stretched.Derek hummed in agreement.
-
''Alright. This way.'' Hendrina said as she headed towards the ballroom's doors. She smiled as she opened the door, looking down the hall she saw the guards trading their stations as well. ''We better hurry before they start asking questions and bring this information to my mother.'' Hendrina stated as she quickly walked down the halls. ''It's there anything you wish to know before we separate?'' Hendrina questioned as she made sure the night guards were in their correct station.
-
Zack followed Princess Hendrina as he smiled slightly,a bit tired to answer right away.He then looked at her and opened his mouth to say something but quickly closed his mouth and shook his head.Derek shook his head and smiled a bit.
-
Turning back to look at Prince Zack and Mr. Derek to see why the lack of answer she smiled to see the tired expression on the prince. With a chuckle, Hendrina continued down the hall, until the view of the staircase came into the picture. ''I suppose you can walk up the stairs and not falling asleep halfway, Prince Zack?'' Hendrina snickered as she held onto the railings. ''Your room should be just down the hall, name plates should be fixed on the door.'' Hendrina said, hands fidgeting.
-
"I will try not to fall asleep, halfway up the stairs "Zack said and chuckled softly, his hand gripping onto the railings. He then frowned in concern"You seem to have something on your mind,Princess Hendrina..".Derek yawned before he walked up the stairs.
-
''You are correct. I'm worried for the humans who await their rulings. I'm sure they wish for me to finish the mission quickly but the witched tainted by the humans' bad blood are blinded by the true purpose of their death to let humanity take it's rightful place.'' Hendrina sighed. ''Another worry is that my people may not like you Prince Zack, Mr. Derek and I must let them know your presence here. My people and I are on constant fighting terms but, that is for a tale another day.'' Hendrina said, reaching the level of various rooms. ''This is your stop. Any questions before I go?'' Hendrina asked her hands resting on her lap as she smiled towards the two.
-
"I understand why your people don't take a liking towards me since I'm the only elf in the competition....."Zack said and began to walk towards a door that belonged to him before he glanced over his shoulder at her and said"Who would like an elf like me"before going into his room, closing the door behind him after Derek had entered.
-
With her dark blue lips wide to speak Hendrina hesitated. Pressing her lips in a firm line as she clenched hands into fists, ready to strike. ''G-Goodnight..'' Hendrina whispered as her heels clicked against the wooden boards. Heading down the hall to the next staircase over her mind was heavy with thoughts. She continued to think of what to say to Prince Zack the next morning about his statement but, all she could find was nothing. Angry with his words and herself, Hendrina continued to go up the flights of stairs until she saw the familiar red colored carpeting. With her heels touching the carpet, Hendrina continued forth until she reached her room. The cold golden knob touched her hand as she swung the door open. ''Best get to writing.'' Hendrina groaned as she began preparing herself for a long, sleepless night.
-
Zack sat down on his bed as he sighed, rubbing his face with his hands.Derek had already started to make himself comfortable on his side of the room as he looked around.
-
The maiden's cold fingers ran through her violet locks. Her small feet slipped out of the heels as her feet touched the comfortable carpeting. The soft ruffling of her feet touching the white carpet as she walked to the wooden oak wardrobe. Heels clacked together with each step the maiden took. The wardrobe's doors creaked to life as the doors were opened wide. Personal items of all types were revealed including many clothing belonging to the princess. The heels clicked as their soles touched the bottom of the wardrobe. Hendrina's cold hands touched the silk fabric nightgown. The white color glistened in the candlelight leaving the familiar smooth feeling onto her fingertips. The nightgown contained puffed sleeves that were sewed tightly to her arms, soon followed by tight silk in which wrapped her arms until reaching her wrists. Ribbons of a beautiful pink color were at the puffed sleeves as well on the top of her chest. Hendrina grasped the dress, as she traveled across the room to the small bathroom she owned.
The bathroom held an elegant feel as the bath tub was connected to four golden colored legs, curved into shape. Most objects within the room were decorated in gold, as well as the small shelves for her beauty supplies. Soon undressing inside the small bathroom, her feet left the cold tiled floors soon touching the carpet. Her white bristled brush remained on her desk in a far corner away from the yellow sheets of papers in which needed to be filled out and checked thoroughly. With a hold on her brush, Hendrina stared into the mirror that loomed above her desk. Brushing the locks of violet, Hendrina hummed a soothing tune to calm her nerves. The light and warmth emitted from the candle in its silver candle holster. The warmth of the candle warmed her skin as she smiled in content. Hendrina soon recalled the words of what escaped the lips of Prince Zack. ''Who would like an elf such as he,'' Hendrina repeated the words aloud as her nose scrunched in anger. ''I'm sure that I may be one to kill many of my kind and his kind, he isn't as bad as elves are said to be.'' Hendrina mused. With a nod to agree with herself she continued. ''I'm sure that elves could be kind and well, not overly happy. The rulers of Planet Earth are humans, not us foreign creatures. Though, must it be that way?'' Questioning her beliefs Hendrina chewed on her chapped lips. ''Elves can't be so bad. I mean, Mr. Derek has quite the mouth when insulting others.'' Hendrina snickered as she recalled the events when the man was rude William and Elliott. ''Prince Zack is a kind soul, he wouldn't hurt anyone unless he must. He is quite sweet and the charmer but, he cannot charm anyone much like Ares can. I can see those two going head-to-head.'' Hendrina muttered. ''Oh, I almost forgotten, he isn't an official member of the harem. How silly of me to think of such fantasies.'' Hendrina sighed as she placed her brush aside. She picked up her quill, soon having the point of the quill scratching at the papers.
