REcata was unmoving the whole time but not dead.

"Nurse Emily keep her heart rate good I'm going to prep her for x-ray. Docter Espino finish those stitches and make them clean and tight" the second doctor said as he left. Dan was informed that her leg will be fine she just needs to rest for a week and stay away from the water

Recata a hour later woke up.

Dan was at the side of her bed in a chair. Recata was still connected to the monitor. "Recata how are you feeling?"

Recata glanced down to see herself in a gown . "Where am I?"

"Your in the human world don't worry you didn't turn into a mermaid" Dan told her "they stitched you and checked for broken bones"

"When can I leave?" she asked .

"This afternoon they didn't find anything wrong so your good"
Dan said -
"I can't be out of the water for more than 48 hours at a time" she said and glanced at her thigh in stiches.

"What if we put you in a tub will that work?" Dan asked

"Yes" she said warily looking at her stiches over and over

"Okay its only been about 3 hours or so you'll be fine this afternoon" Dan said "don't worry" Dan said

Recata glanced up and rubbed her thigh with the stiches.

"Does it hurt?" he asked

Recata looked up at him"What do you think?"
