Nina sighed as she held onto a rung, frowning as people shoved around her. Honestly, why couldn't they just stay still?

brightfire Newbiealex stood in the subway tram, standing quietly in a neatly pressed coat as he clung onto a rung. the train jolted and he bumped into a woman behind him before stumbling. "Sorry, ma'am!"

Nina gasped and fell, having lost her grip on the rung due to the impact. "Shoot!" She stood quickly, brushing off her bum with a scowl and a death glare.

brightfire Newbiealex looked sheepish. "i said sorrry, ma'am!" he muttered in his thick accent before he turned around and grabbed a rung again, clinging his messy folders and briefcase.

"Well sorry doesn't cut it. This is my only clean uniform...." Nina groaned, hanging her head miserably.

brightfire Newbiealex grimaced and turned around, his face in an expression unreadable and tired. "i'm sorrry ma'am. not my fault the subway jolted." he simply handed her a 20$ bill to pay for the uniform and turned around again, ignoring her while scribbling something in his notebook.

Nina blinked and sighed before placing the bill into his jacket pocket. "I don't want any money..."

"It's not ruined... I'll just have to go to work tomorrow with a bit of dirt on my ass, that's all."

Nina looked away, crossing her arm over her chest before the train came to a stop.

brightfire Newbiealex waved to her before springing off the train and disappearing up the stairs. he didn't seem to notice he dropped his case.

Nina blinked and picked it up, deciding it best to give it to him if she seen him again tomorrow.

brightfire Newbiethe next day, alex had freaked out at the missing suitcase before deciding it must be somewhere. he grabbed his jacket and hopped on the subway train, muttering to himself in norwegian.

Nina was standing behind him and blinked before lightly shaking his shoulder. "Excuse me? You left this yesterday."
