  Nina sat in her chair, sighing as she closed her eyes. She was so tired.

  alex was fast asleep by the time she got home.
  the next morning, he frantically grabbed some toast and ran out the door, late. he tumbled down the stairs, somehow stayed in one piece, and landed on his feet before hopping on his usual subway.
