Nina was about the speak when the subway stopped, causing her to frown a bit. "Well, I suppose we should get off."

brightfire Newbiealex shrugged. "my stop was.." he checked the schedule and gasped. "MY STOP WAS THE LAST ONE!" he literally ran off the subway to get to his regular stop. "bye!"

Nina couldn't help but laugh a bit as she waved and made her way to the cafe in which she worked, smiling.

brightfire Newbiea hour later alex went to the cafe for his regular cup of coffee. he opened the door, winced slightly at the sudden noise of the bell, and went up to the counter to order.

Nina hadn't noticed, looking down at her notepad as she heard him. "Hello, welcome to Black Blossom Cafe, how may I help you?"

brightfire Newbie"vello, i'd like a cup of black coffee with crream, please." he replied as he rummaged in his pocket for the money.

"A cup of black coffee with cream coming right up." Nina managed, having heard his voice and knowing who he was while silently praying he didn't recognize her.

brightfire Newbieluckily, alex didn't look up, and he only did to hand her the money. he didn't recognize her; he had forgotten his glasses. "thank you ma'am." he sat at the cafe table, writing while waiting for his cup of coffee.

Nina sighed in relief as she poured his coffee before grabbing some creamer and bringing it with her to his table, setting it down politely. "Sorry about the wait, Mister Hamilton."

brightfire Newbiealex absentmindedly nodded and took the coffee, sipping it with scribbling once more. now he was writing the book instead of character designs.

Nina silently read over his shoulder and smiled, liking the start before walking back to the counter, stretching.

brightfire Newbiealex blinked and looked around, finally realizing his glasses weren't on his nose. "Excuse me, ma'am, have you seen glasses?"

Nina glanced around and noticed a pair hanging on his jacket and chuckled before taking them and sliding the, onto his face.

brightfire Newbiealex blinked and looked at her. "oh! hello dere!" he said happily before returning to his book.

Nina walked back to the counter, humming quietly.
