Savanna finally managed to get past the girl and headed to her next class.
The next day, Savanna carefully walked into the cafe. She saw the boy sitting with the 'popular' girls and hoped he forgot her. She quietly walked over to an empty table at the opposite side of the cafe. Many people asked to sit with her, but she shook her head. -
James told Betty and her friends, "Alright ladies. Later, I gotta hit on someone." James quickened towards Savanna. He finally managed to get near her. "Hey, would you mind helping me out?" James made a funny and cute face and pleaded, "Pwwweeeeaaaaaasseeeee?"

Savanna looked up from the book she was reading. She saw James and looked back at her book. "What do you need help with?" She asked.

"Nothing specific. Can you just look at me?" James was shocked, yet he managed to keep his calm. "I need help with the Maths notes. It seems you're pretty smart."

Savanna nodded and got some paper and a pencil. "What do you need to work on?" She asked.

"Um..." James was not really prepared for it, yet he handled a lie perfectly. "Yesterday that our teacher gave us. I just didn't understand this formula. And, I can't understand our Chemistry chapter second."

Savannah nodded, staring at the paper. She drew out the Pythagorean Theorem that they were working on. "Does this make sense?" She asked, since there were many ways to write out the Pythagorean Theorem.

"Not yet. Let's sit down first, there's still an hour left for classes to start." James grabs the hand of Savanna and takes her near a table. He pulls out a chair for her and asks her to sit down.

Savanna took her hand away and sat back at her table. She wrote the Pythagorean Theorem out in a different way. "Does this make more sense?" She asked.

James pretended to be concentrating. "Mhm, yup. And Chemistry?"
Lillian, Betty's best friend, giggled as she past James and Savanna sitting together. -
Savanna, who was trying to just focus on the paper, looked up at the giggle. She realized James was sitting with her and moved over a bit. "I'm not in Chemistry... But it I read the textbook. The second chapter is just the formula for gunpowder." She answered. "So Potassium Nitrate, Charcoal powder, and Sulfur powder."

James noticed the slight movement. He smiled and looked into Savannah's beautiful eyes. Soon, he broke the eye contact. "Ehm, I'm not into that too. I was talking about our chemistry..." James stopped and said, "I mean I, well, never mind. Huh. I'm just like that. Tell me about yourself."

"Uh... I have to go..." Savanna told him, picking up her stuff and putting it in her bag.

"Hey..." James said with a low tone.

"What?" Asked Savanna, looking at the ground.
