"Um, nothing. Wanna hang out after class?" He asked, with total nervousness.

"You can decide..." James said, and with that he left.

Savanna shook her head no and ran out of the cafe. She got to class very early and put her stuff in the two seats beside her. That way no one could sit with her.

Larry caught hold of James. "Heard you're hitting on Savanna. How did it go?" James replied, "Man, she's hard. I guess that's what makes me like her more."

(Sorry, I was doing farm chores.)

oon Math began. Savanna saw James come in and hoped that he would choose to sit with his friends. She got to work and pretended she didn't see him walk in.

James wanted to try something else. He was pretty much scared, so he took a seat near his friends.

Savanna felt relieved as she did her math work. Soon it was time for her next class. Since she put her stuff on separate seats it took longer to get them in her bag.

James wasn't feeling quite well. He left for home in middle of his class.

The next day, a crowd was filling the hallway. In the middle was a large fight going on!

The fight went on and on, the whole school seemed entertained! "Isn't this great!?!" Larry asked James excitedly.

Suddenly, Savanna ran into the middle of the fight and blocked them. "Hey! Move will ya!?!" One of the two boys yelled. Savanna shook her head no. No matter where the boys moved, she managed to block them. Eventually they gave up and walked away. "Bummer!" Larry muttered.
