Nigel held Azalea close and hugged her.

Azalea coughed and covered her mouth, squeezing her eyes shut and hunching over.

Nigel patted her back to help her.

Azalea took a deep breath and straightened, tears in her eyes, "I'm so sorry..."

Nigel said "It's okay, it could have happened to anyone."

Azalea buried her face in his shoulder, nodding slightly, "If I could, I would take the sickness from everyone and die from it myself..."

Nigel said "Well sometimes sick just happens. And it would be nice if there wasn't any, but you shouldn't take it all."

Azalea frowned, "My citizens are my family, and I hate to see my family injured. I'd rather take their place. I told you, I'm different from the selfish little girl you knew."

Nigel said "I know."

Azalea sighed and closed her eyes, quivering wildly, tears in her eyes. She didn't want to die, but she knew it was unstoppable. No one had ever survived the plague.

Nigel started to cry as he knew that Azalea will die. He still wanted to know if there was a cure but he promised he wouldn't leave."

Azalea blinked and frowned, "Please don't cry... I promised I would make it through this for you."

Nigel said "I know I'm sorry. I just don't want to lose you."

Azalea smiled gently and pecked his lips. "You won't. I promise."

Nigel half smiled and said "I hope so"
