Sparrowtail prowled out again, pacing the forest. It was only when he stumbled across a patrol and heard Dawnbright's voice that he stopped. "Sparrowtail, great StarClan! Get your head out of the clouds and pay attention!" Sparrowtail stared at his paws. Dawnbright had been his mentor. "Sorry, Dawnbright."
'Why don't you do something useful, instead of wandering around like you've nothing to do. Join our patrol, we're heading to the RiverClan border."
RiverClan! Maybe Rosesky would be there! Sparrowtail shook away the immediate excitement. He couldn't talk to her with the patrol there. -
Rosesky trotted near the border. She sensed SHadowClan, she she bounded under the rocks.

Sparrowtail sniffed the air. RiverClan, and close. Maybe it was.. "You go on ahead," he suggested to the patrol, "I'll stay and check out scents here."
"Alright," Dawnbright meowed. -
Rosesky heard the cats shuffle by. She peeked her head out, and saw Sparrowtail. She shuffled towards him, meowing, "Um, I have something to tell you...."

Sparrowtail leaned towards her. "What is it?" he asked. The patrol was gone, thank StarClan, and wouldn't be paying attention to behind them, and wouldn't scent the close-by RiverClan she-cat, they where far enough away, the wind was blowing towards Sparrowtail and Rosesky, away from Dawnbright's patrol, and their nostrils would be filled with their own scent markers.

Sparrowtail reeled back as if an invisible force had hit him. "Wha..who's? When?" -

"Remember when we slept on that rock? Their your's - Sparrowtail!" -

"That's great!" he exclaimed. "Wait - our Clans." -
"We don't have to tell them," Rosesky meowed, "That I'm expecting your kits. I don't have to tell my Clan that you're the father, and you don't have to tell your Clan anything!"

"Okay," he meowed. His heart cracked to think that his kits would grow up without a father, that he would not know them, but he knew it would be best.

"But... we need to raise them together," Rosesky meowed, "we can..." Mistyshade interupted them. "You can seperate them," the dark gray she-cat smirked.

Sparrowtail glared at Mistyshade. "You have no right to be here, nor to interrupt. Get away."
But he was thinking, separate? Would that work? What could go wrong? -
Misty shade meowed, "Qnd I could take one to."
