Sparrowtail walked over to her. "So," he meowed, "it's really happened." He hadn't noticed that Kestralflame didn't cheer, or seem to want him there.

"Yes! Oh thank you Sparrowtail!" Rosesky nudged his cheek. "I love you more than my father."

A purr rumbled in Sparrowtail's throat. "I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I love you, Rosesky."

"I love you to!" Her kits suckled, by her belly, her mate by her side. This was perfect.

If I had the choice, I would always live this life again. Sparrowtail looked around. How romantic. Fishclaw would laugh if he saw him now. But now was not the time to think about that.

Rosesky yawned. "Look at the kits. Arn't they beautiful?" She passed out. She was sooooo tired...
