She slipped her head under Sparrowtail's paw, purring.
"EEWWWW, Mama and Dada!" Violetkit squealed. -
Volekit exclaimed, "Blech! Dey are so yucky! I will never do dat!"

"Ya! Dey so weiwed!" Rosesky smiled. "You will fall in love one day, my dears." "Nooo-ew weeeey!"

Volekit's eyes stretched wide. "Love? So dat's what yucky is called? No, never! I will not look so stupid!"

Sparrowtail laughed. "You will not think it's stupid when you are older," he promised. Volekit still looked disgusting, and was shaking his head.

Violetkit pounced on Volekit. "We don't newed wuv! We gunnaz bez leaderz!"

Volekit nodded excitedly. "Oh yes!"

"Oh, we have no doubt about that, right, Sparrowtail?" Rosesky purred.
Bramblekit then meowed, "When you guyz are warriorz and leaderz, can I be a medicinez catz?"
Rosesky's ears pricked up. Her kit wanted to heal, and not cause blood-shed? Her eyes gleamed with pride. "Of course. Bramblekit, do you want to become a medicine cat?"
"Yez!" Bramblekit mewed. -
"Right," purred Sparrowtail. Volekit stared at Bramblekit. "But Bramblekit, don't ya wanna be leader? Cats be listen to you?"

"Noz." Bramblekit shook his head. "I wanna learnz aboutz herbz."

"Ya weirdo, Bramblekit. I'm gonna be leader someday! When I rule, we be powerful. I rule da whole world!" Volekit meowed.
