Mar chuckled quietly to himself, nodding his head slowly to her. "So, you want food?" he asked pushing himself up from where he was to his feet as he looked to the girl, them to the door. Holding a hand out to her as he turned his head back to her with a small smile. "Come. Shall we go and get you something then?"
-
"Yes, thank you. I'm very hungry, actually." She stood from the chair and followed him towards the door. "I'll have what ever there is here. I'm not picky at all." She gave him a small smile, still following behind him.
-
Mar led her down towards the kitchen area of the castle, knowing some of the workers still were there as they arrived there soon. Smiling still as he stepped to the side a little bit. "Just say what you want, they can make it I believe." he said to her.
-
Keira cleared her throat quietly before speaking. "Could I have some Turkey and bread with a side of grapes and a glass of water?" She turned to Mar nervously. "I hope I'm not asking for too much. Am I?" She met his eyes, watching for a reaction.
-
Mar shook his head to the girl as a 'no' as he looked up to the servants there. "Please get her as she asked. Thank you." he said to them quietly, but loud enough to be heard as they started to get what she had asked for. "It's not too much. Feel free. You are hungry, so you must eat ma'am." he said turning back to her smiling.
-
She watched the cooks return to the kitchen after his orders. "Oh, thank you, Prince Mar." She smiled baring dimples on each cheek. She was very grateful to get actual food for the first time in a while. Not old fruit with bruises or stale bread. Actual food. She liked her lips in anticipation for the meal.

(ahh just noticed this - licked* not liked)
-
Mar smiled as he nodded his head slightly. "You're welcome. Shall we take a seat as we wait for your food?" he asked, gesturing to the table and chairs to the side. "It shouldn't take long for it to finish after all. And can talk for the time till, I guess.." he said with a small shrug. Hoping to learn about the girl some more as they would wait for the cooks to finish.
-
Keira took a seat, and then adjusted the skirt of her dress. The pain on her back had subsided while she was busy with Prince Mar. She hadn't wanted to make a scene on her first day so she decided that when she got the chance to bathe, she would clean the wounds and wrap her chest with cloth. "So, since it's your birthday, will you be celebrating this evening?" She asked curiously.

(yo you still want to do this?)

My mind has been filling with these stories I've been reading, so I forgot about this a bit. Sorry. But, yeah. Going to make a note about this on my hand so I'll remember XD half asleep, so may not be good)
Mar took a seat across from the girl, smiling slightly to her as he kept his eyes on her looking off to the kitchen area a little though. "A bit, yes. Mostly to myself however. Dex said he would be unable to accompany me at the time, but said the 'surprise present', I suppose, was to help. I guess was you though? In a way, anyway." he said with a shrug. -
(It's cool)
Keira sat back in her seat and looked at him. "I wonder what my purpose was, though? I wasn't told much to begin with. But I was lucky enough to be choosen out of the bunch." After a moment of think she asked the Prince, "Could you ask your brother possibly? Maybe later in the day ask him what my purpose exactly is? I know we both have to be curious about this." -
Alright.)
Mar nodded his head to her smiling still as he did so. "Lady luck was on your side today, yes. May I ask what it was like? Where you came from, that is." he asked her. Curious to know about it and her some. "I can try to ask him. He should know seeing as he is the one who has you here." he replied with a nod. -
Keira nodded in agreement. "Mhm. Where I lived? It wasn't very nice, in all honesty. Everyone slept close together under a shack-like building, and the beds, well, they were just made of leaves and straw with a large cloth draped over. Food rations were small and we only got two meals a day. Since we were far from any village, the only people we would see were messengers to pick up slaves for the wealthy." She paused thinking of the problem girls would face, but she decided not to share information about that. "And it's work all day with one break of your choosing at any time of the day, but it can't be long. The slave keeper... He's very mean." She said quietly.
-
Didn't forget.)
Mar listened to her closely as she spoke, repeating it to himself in his head afterwards a moment. "Outside of this castle, it would seem life is tough..hard on ones like you. My brother must know of the things like this, seeing as he did get you from one. Hopefully things of the such become better. If I ever succeed my brother, I shall make sure personally that it is improved for everyone as best as possible." he said to her. Not liking what he heard.
