Mar stood within the wide walls of the room-his confinement. Rarely leaving this one room for he saw no real reason to. Seeing as he was never allowed to leave the castle, and having explored every inch of it over the years, nothing else really came with it to go out and explore around it. Though he would go out daily for the necessities.
Upon this day, Mar was turning sixteen. His brother, Dex, had spoken to him a few hours ago to inform him of a surprise he had I'm store for his little brother, the prince. Leaving him curious about what this "surprise" would be, he stood there, waiting. His brother was nice to him though. To be honest the only thing he disliked about his brother was that he often times forced him to do some things he did not wish to do.

There was a rumor that the prince would come and take a slave as his own. Keira chuckled at it. The prince would never take a dingy girl like her. She figured he would possibly take a boy as a companion, or maybe a pretty girl to mess around with. She knew little about him, but this is what she thought. She usually took care of the little animals such as the pigs or ducklings. Keira took pride in her work with them because they were one of the few things that made her feel good.
