Lord Vathek appeared in a projection in the clouds. He said "You think you have succeeded? You just grabbed the fake emerald." He held up the real emerald and said "The one you have is worthless glass."

"what!?"

Flash dropped his emerald and it shattered on the ground.

"why you little..."

"Did you really think I would leave the real emerald out in the open? I knew that obstacle course wouldn't stop you. Now watch this." said Vathek. He shot a beam of power and it injured the king. Flash tried to pick him up.

Speedy got bigger every time that Vathek did something.Then finally she was huge and yelled "AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"

Vathek said "Sorry about your bad luck. If you want me come and get me." His clouds disappeared. Flash picked up the king and tried to get him to the hospital ward.

Speedy's heat got hotter and she ran outside.

Flash got the king to the ward and they took over from there. He started to run after Speedy.

Speedy cooled down

Flash caught up and said "I have bad news. The hospital ward said that it's possible that the king will not live, despite their best efforts."

Speedy let out a slight tear."ow!"

Flash hugged Speedy and said "We will catch him, I know we can."

Speedy got up but fell right back down
