Flash laid down but was starting to worry about Speedy. She seemed different.

Speedy prepared her arrow then shot.

Flash stared at the stars for a minute and fell asleep.

Speedy stayed up all night practicing non-stop

Flash woke up the next morning to see speedy still practicing. He said "Did you sleep a wink last night?"

"No"she said firmly

Flash noticed a streak of black hair on Speedy that wasn't there yesterday.

Speedy burnt a tree and quickly made 24 more arrows

Flash was still worrying about Speedy, so this time he led the way. This time there was no itchiness.

Speedy did not follow Flash and just continued practicing

Flash noticed Speedy wasn't following and said "Come on, we have a job to do."
