Speedy's eyes opend just enough to see Flash

Flash said "What do you want from us?" Vathek said "I want you out of the way, while I use the Emerald of Chaos to level my brother's kingdom to the ground and turn all his knights into shadow knights."

"what?!"

Flash said "You can't do that. You are a bad leader." Vathek threw an empty beaker at Flash and it shattered at his face. "Silence." he said.

Speedy struggled to get out "let us go!"

Vathek said "No. I'll leave you here to rot. Once I conquer the world, you will be the last to turn." He left the room.

"I hate this guy.."she said somehow getting warmer"my powers! there melting the stuff holding me back"

Flash noticed his powers weren't returning. Flash tried but he couldn't get cold.

"Need help?"she said

Flash said "A little."

Speedy burnt what was holding him back

Flash got up and said "I don't get it. Why haven't my powers returned?"

"I don't know"she said

Flash said "We'll worry about it later. Let's see if we can't get that emerald."
