Mia thought for a moment, "I can't think of the words... Umm... They hurt me...?" It sounded like a question as she still wasn't positive those were the words.

Dianne asked "How did they hurt you? Do they do it often?"

Mia narrowed her eyes with a thinking look, "U-um.. Often...?" She said not liking the question.

Everyone had sad looks on their faces. Dianne hugged Mia and said "It's okay, you're safe here." Al knelt down and said "They won't find you here. I promise."

Mia nodded slightly, "O-Okay." She said quietly, she hugged Dianna back loosely, "A-Are you okay? W-What a-about them? You look sad." She said quietly.

Al said "They're sad for you. No child should ever be hurt like that."

Mia thought over it for a moment, "I don't... Understand..." She said, "Why?" She asked she squeezed Dianna a bit.

Dianne said "Children should be treated with love and respect." Al said "Yeah."

Mia sighed lightly, "I don't get it." She said quietly she hid her head in Diannes shoulder.

Al stood up and said "Well you'll get it later being around us. How would you like to live with us as part of our group?"

Mia looked up from the shoulder, she nodded slightly. "Is that okay?" She asked.

Al said "It wonderful if you join us. The more, the merrier."

Mia nodded and snuggled closer to the lady, she hugged her closely and hid herself in her shoulder. "Okay." She mumbled quietly.

Dianne said "She said yes." Al said "Perfect." He gave the fish he had to Flex and said "Flex, here's the fish. Start cooking, please." Flex said "You got it."

Mia tightened her grip around her slightly, she liked this lady she was nice and comfortable. "A-Ann?" She asked quietly, "Can I call you Ann?" She said fixing her sentence.
