Dianne said "Sure." Flex said to Mia "Hey kid, do you want to help me prepare supper?"

Mia looked up, "I don't know how." She said quietly.

Flex said "You don't have to know to help me. I'll show you what to do."

Mia tilted her head a bit and nodded slightly, "Sure, I'll help then..." She said.

Flex said "Then follow me to the kitchen."

Mia moved slowly away and then followed after him quickly.

Flex took Mia to the kitchen and said "First thing we need to do before handling food is wash our hands." He walked over to the sink and said "Do you think you can reach it?"

Mia looked at the sink and shook her head a bit, "Sorry."

Flex said "Hold on." He pulled out a small step stool for Mia and said "Try it now."

Mia tilted her head and stepped up on the stool, it was just tell enough for her to reach over it.

Flex turned on the water, grabbed the soap and said "Cup your hands please."

Mia nodded and did as he told told her.

Flex squirted the soap into her hands and said "Just rub that on your hands and then rinse them."

Mia nodded and then did as he told her to.

Flex washed his hands with Mia and said "Alright now, I don't know if you would want to see me clean and de-bone the fish, so if you don't just turn away and I'll tell you when I'm done."
