"But you're not me!" She snapped ignoring what Joseph had said, "And what's with you acting all high and mighty?" She asked trying to distract them from Joseph, "You're not so special you know! You seem to stupid to be magic users anyways."

One mercenary pulled out a club and said "That's because we're not. But neither are you." He was about to swing the club.

Merlin stood up straighter and tilted head, "Are you sure I'm not?" She asked raising her eyebrow with a small smirk playing at her lips. She hoped he fell for it so she didn't actually have to do something.

He ignored the warning and hit Merlin on her side.

Merlin closed her eyes and stumbled a bit, she started to stand up straight as she spoke "I am sooo tired," she started, "Of you people hitting me with s---!" She screamed opening her eyes as they turned bright red and flames sparked at her hands, "I've had enough of this s---!" She said and ger eyes grew darker.

The mercenary holding Joseph said "I think you made a mistake." The other mercenary said, loudly "YA THINK!"

"Leave, now." Merlin said a smile playing on her lips, "Or can I show you what real magic is." She said in no mood for playing around.

The merc holding Joseph put him down and ran. The other stupidly charged at Merlin.

Merlin placed one hand on her cheek in thought for a moment then stepped back and moved her hands delicately moving the fire at her finger. The flames turned into a dragon like thing but it was small about half the size of her and purely made of the flames. It looked up at her and puffed a bit then turned back to the man it flapped its wings and blew a bit of fire at the man to stop him from moving.

The mercenary got burned by the flames. At that point, he dropped his club and ran. Joseph was awestruck.

Merlin chuckled quietly at the mercenary and backed up a bit, the dragon turned to her and bounced around, she chuckled at him, "Thanks bud." She said as the flames disappeared. She looked up at Joseph and closed her eyes and backed up a bit and opened her eyes and they turned back to usual. She stumbled back more.

Joseph stood up and grabbed Merlin's arm. He ran with her to a hidden hatch only he knew about. He made sure no one followed and escaped.

Merlin stumbled after him she was waiting for home to explode at her or something but she didn't see it coming yet co she just followed quietly.

Joseph took Merlin into a forest near the kingdom and said "I think we're safe here." Joseph then turned his attention to Merlin and said "Anything you wanna tell me now?"

Merlin flinched slightly, "N-N-No... Not really?" She said shying away from him.
