It is the next step in evolution. All scientists at the CDC realize this. At first, it started off as a horrible mistake. The mix of chemicals that poisoned the water supply around Atlanta, Georgia was never meant to happen. Soon, it became viral, and many people around the south east were getting the deadly disease. It became the new plague, and it soon spread out and wiped out about 89% of the world's population, or a little over six billion people. In order to fix their mistake, the CDC came up with medicine that was supposedly able to eliminate all side effects that the virus gave people. Giving out a medicine for a virus backfired more than the CDC intended, and a total of five-hundred thousand peopled died because of it.
This raging war between the virus and life swayed back and fourth for a century. Country borders collapsed and anything left of the great empires of the world before soon banded together to try and keep the human population alive. Small countries never stood a chance against the virus and were easily wiped out.
But then came the next step in evolution. A small group of children, no more than two hundred, were beginning to show signs of health and even immunity against the horrible virus the American CDC invented. The children were rounded up and taken away from their families and underwent tests. Most tests were simple, but as the scientists became more cocky and power driven, more inhumane tests were done on the children, and soon they were dying because of it. Still, more and more children were showing signs of good health, and so they kept more and more subjects coming in.
Then, a special group of children showed up. These children were just as healthy as the others, but they had something more special about them. When their mothers had gotten the vaccination for the virus, they were all pregnant with their children, and this vaccination changed the genetic make-up of the still growing children. This caused the children to have in-humanlike abilities. They were basically like mutants off of the X-Men, but without the physical giveaways.
The scientists tried to round up as many children as they could for testing, but a new band of people rose up to protect this new breed of children from the CDC. This band of people had no official name, but they all lived underground, usually stealing old army bases and/or bunkers. They were widely spread throughout the world and decided to work against the CDC to help the children who were being tested on.
This new breed of children were trained how to control their powers and ways to cope, and they were taught how to fight and kill. After many years of training, people in this group fighting against the CDC hand selected some of their best fighters to help on a mission to help get inside the CDC and destroy them from the inside out. All in all, four teens or young adults were chosen. They were the best of the best, both physically and mentally. Their goal takes 3 phases.
Phase 1: Make it half way across the world. Alive
Phase 2: Make it into the CDC undetected. And alive.
Phase 3: Take down the CDC by corrupting their system and freeing the other children, making it out. Alive.
Obviously, things wont go as planned.

Okay, I hope the plot wasn't too long and made you lose interest. If you have any questions or need me to clear anything up, feel free to ask. Also, keep in mind I have the right to deny soaping with you if I don't think you're experienced enough. I would also like someone who's on fairly often. (I say fairly because I know school work can be a b---- and I'm not always on every f---ing day either so whooptie do) I can make a charrie skeleton if needed, and we could totally throw a bit of romance (I prefer FxF or FxM) and angsty twists are the best. -

Name: Ausra Kubis
Age: 17
Gender: Chick
Looks: eh
Wears: Her favorite things to wear are knee length skirts when she doesn't have to do anything, and she prefers long sleeved shirts. She doesn't really have a certain style though, clothing wise. She'll wear pants when she has go train or something of that sort.
Power: She basically has the same powers of Violet off of the Incredibles. She can turn invisible and make force fields. (so original)
Personality: Ausra has a very odd personality. She can be fun loving and crazy, yet serious at the same time. She can be very philosophical at times, too. Though she is usually very happy, it doesn't take much to ruin her mood, and once her mood is changed to a sad one or angry one, she usually stays that way for the rest of the day. She's also not much of a morning person, either, so don't talk to her when she firsts wakes up, because she'll either snap and yell at you or burst out crying, for some reason. She doesn't even know. Ausra is also a very hard worker, but knows when she needs a break. It's one of the reasons why she was out of the top in the trainees.
Bio: Ausra's family lived in Lithuania around the time the virus broke out. Once the country walls started collapsing her family moved into Russia to survive. Because of this, she is very fluent it both Russian and Lithuanian since her family had lived in Russia for over a hundred years, and she also has a very strong accent. She doesn't remember much of her family as she was taken away as soon as her powers were discovered, though they had a hard time finding her most of the time, and usually kept a bell on her. Seriously. She was trained like everyone else and grew up like everyone else who was taken to safety around what was left of Russia, and she only remembered a few things from her earlier life. Other than that, there's really nothing to tell.
Likes: Rabbits, wolves, dancing, singing, playing around with her powers
Dislikes: heights (even if you pick her up she screams and shakes, she's severely afraid) guns (despite the fact she has to use them a lot, she likes knives better) winter, the color white, needles, water, and closets. -
