Sorry. School has sucked me up and drowned me lately.))
Leo drew a yawn and closed his eye's for a moment. He wanted to release the exhaustion taking his soul. He reopened his eyes and nodded. "That sounds good to me." He stretched, trying to make his sore back comfortable. Leo continued eating his spaghetti. He had filled his bowl with a lot of it. He normally didn't eat a ton, but he was trying to force stuff down. He was average weight but he didn't exactly know when he would eat again. Plus, Leo had not ate all day. He had ate cabbage yesterday. Boiled Cabbage wasn't a favorite of his but it was healthy and easy to collect. Leo watched the Irish in line and wiped his face. He wondered how Ausra felt and how all of them felt. Leo didn't feel like a superhero. He felt like a weak teenager, going to war. He blew a sigh.
Zayn felt disgusted by these people. He stood and threw the food away. His appetite was gone. Zayn wasn't a bad person when it came to trusting, it was just his sarcastic mouth. He spoke with disrespect and rudeness. Though, despite everything so far, he was a very awkward guy. Zayn felt he might want to tone his attitude down. He wanted to make friends, but his ego collected itself up. He return to his seat and watched all of them. He felt a apology was needed. He didn't like apologizing. It means he lost and gave up. Zayn decided to just keep his mouth closed for a moment. -
(that's fine, schools a dick)
Morgan returned to the table after he had gotten more food. He was really enjoying the amount of food they set out. But, he did guess they were American's, and from what he had heard around base they used to eat weird processed foods and were usually fat. He didn't believe that, of course, but guessed it could be a possibility. Once he sat, he began eating again, finding it a little odd that everyone suddenly became a bit silent around the table. He didn't say anything, though, and just kept eating, keeping his thoughts to himself.
~~~~~~
For a moment Ausra just looked around at the three boys. She cleared her throat as she pushed her empty plate away from her, already finished. "Alright, who wants to ask a question first?" Ausra questioned glancing around the table. "If we're going to be fighting together, it would be a good idea to know who's got my back." Ausra hoped that they all could agree on that note; wanting to know who they might have to depend on. That's one of the things Ausra never got to do back home. She was always put with people she didn't know, and her life constantly depended on them. She had people who she didn't know... their lives depended on her to. Whenever they went on missions or anything of that sort... it was torture fighting alongside people she didn't even know, or having people she didn't even know die because of her. She was going to make sure that didn't happen while she was in America. -
Leo thought. He thought he should probably ask something first, since he didn't want the American asking something completely rude. "What's your guy's age and have you ever had any experience fighting?" He tried to keep the first question a simple one. "I am 19 and I'm not experienced in fighting. I have had some fights and won, but I wouldn't say I could immediately kick anyone's ass." Leo nodded and finished off the last of his spaghetti. He felt way too full. He looked over at the American. His eye's were no longer purple. They were blue and he looked a lot more distracted now. Leo wondered if that was his power. Something to do with his eyes. Maybe he could see through walls or see people's skeleton?
Zayn took a silent moment to think about that question. His eye's turned back to milky blue again. He figured he didn't need to see to answer questions. His ability to see also made him exhausted. "I'm 20," He wiped his cheek, feeling that it had something on it. "And I've kicked a lot of ass." He grew a smirk and let out a soft chuckle. He looked around the room in darkness. Zayn hated not being able to see. He absolutely hated it. He was supposed to be the insane killer. Not the blind, innocent looking kid. He probably wasn't going to tell the others. They wouldn't be afraid of him than. -
A soft sigh escaped Morgan's lips as he pushed his plate of food away, suddenly not hungry anymore. He looked between the Canadian and the American, and he guessed that he should take his turn and get it over with. He was never one to speak up first unless he had to, but he hated being the awkward kid who went last. "I'm twenty, and I guess I can kick some ass when I'm drunk," he stated simply while shrugging. Alright, now what else was he supposed to say? Well, he guessed he shouldn't say anything as the Lithuanian, or Russian, whatever she was, said her turn.
~~~~~~
Now Ausra was a little intimidated by these boys. They were all much older than her, and yet they hadn't really done much fighting? Back home, she used to go on missions constantly; and they weren't the happy missions, either. They were the missions where kids died right in front of her; the ones that never left happy images in her mind or happy things to stay in her dreams. A slight sigh escaped her lips as she now felt like the odd ball out. She was the only girl, the only one who didn't know English as her native language... "I'm seventeen," Ausra spoke up. "And I first learned combat skills when I was eight and graduated our academy when I was eleven, so I suppose I have decent fighting skills." -
Leo's eye's went at the Russian. He let a soft snicker escape his firm lips. "I'm going to die, compared to her on the battle field." He slightly pointed at her, not trying to anxious about it. He was trying to be charming to them. He wanted to seem appealing. He liked making people laugh and people smile. "Sorry, I'm not meaning to take our mission a joke." Leo's expression turned back to serious again and he looked down, almost with pity, to the floor. He sighed and shrugged. "Anyone else like to give a question?" He looked at each face. Leo didn't exactly hate any of the teenagers yet. The American annoyed him, but he still somewhat like him.
Zayn glared around. His eye's turning purple again. He wiped his exhausted eye's. He wasn't too focused on answering questions. He was to busy studying the room. It was lovely here. However, this place had a gloomy feeling to him. Like a hospital or a funeral home. Zayn hated this a bunch. He didn't like that gloomy, dark feeling. It made him quiet and seem far away. He didn't care about the death feeling in funeral homes.. He cared about the depressing crying there. Zayn never went to funerals. He would have to pretend to be sad. -
I'm going to bump this, so it's not lost.))

(s--- I am so sorry)
A slight sigh escaped Morgan's lips when Leo asked that question. He leaned back in his chair a bit and stretched, popping his back. "I'm going to be the a--hole who asks the question we're all thinking about," Morgan spoke simply as he returned to his normal spot. "So; what are your guys' powers?" After he asked that question, Morgan's voice took on an almost sarcastic tone. "Here, I'll go first. Basically, I have super human strength and can basically grind your bones together if you piss me off. Other than that, not much. Who wants to share next?"
~~~~~~
In all honesty, Ausra was taken a bit by surprise when Morgan asked that question, but she couldn't say it was uncalled for. She had been wondering the same thing since she first got there. How different were these kids? What monstrosities were they? She always found lots of other children's powers interesting. She once met a kid who could shift into any animal. She was good friends with him until he was killed in a mission. But, she didn't want to be the one who would go first next in sharing her abilities, so she waited around to see if anyone else wanted to share before her.
(sorry for the s---tiness of the replies) -
Leo watched everyone. Strength? This guy had strength? Leo thought about that and shot Morgan a intimated look. Leo would love to have strength, compared to burning thing's or creating light. He brushed hair out of his eye's and looked away. He wiped his face, almost wincing at the question. "I can shoot fire out of my hands. I once thought it was Light, since it's green and almost like a ray, but you can trust me. It's definitely not light, it's fire." He shrugged and hoped that nobody found him weird. Leo was the type to talk and talk when he was completely nervous or being cocky.
Zayn grew a wide smirk and watched Leo. He studied the female's facial expression. "Fire? That's useless on my ability and strength too. I guess Fire would hurt a ton. If you smashed my heart with strength, that would do too. However, my power is like a starfish. Cut my limbs off and I grow back. I can also grow back anything I want. It doesn't have to be human flesh. It can be hooves, scales, bones, or pretty much anything." Zayn debated whether or not to tell the blind part. His eye's were purple. -
Morgan sent a glare at Zayn. Now he was just being cocky. Sure, pretend that his power was better than everyone else? What a dick move. "What about if I were to suffocate you? Maybe cave your head in? Can you regenerate without your brain? If you don't know, I'd gladly help you in finding out," Morgan stated, a bit of dark sarcasm hidden in his voice as he boredom stared at Zayn. Morgan then fell silent, waiting to see the boys reaction. He knew that he was being a dick now, but it was always fun to watch the people who made other people squirm, squirm.
~~~~~~
"How the hell did you figure out that if you got a limb chopped off it would grow back?" Ausra questioned, highly confused. Wouldn't he have gotten an arm, or perhaps a finger, chopped off in order to discover that ability? She didn't know, but once she realized what she said, she felt a bit embarrassed. She felt like the only reason she said it was to keep the boys from starting an argument. "I'm sorry, that was uncalled for." Ausra cleared her throat a bit, realizing that she still had to go. "But, my abilities is to turn myself, and anything I physically touch invisible, and to generate energy fields." -
Leo studied Morgan. "Let's not smash anyone's head and say we did." Leo pressed his lips together. He didn't mean to sound harsh or cold, but he wasn't about to hear anyone threaten anyone. He smiled at Ausra. "That's unique. Can you hold them for a long period of time or is it just like a flash?" He asked, interested. He crossed his arms and looked at her eye's. He always had found her very interesting. Leo smiled to himself and thought. He looked around at his surroundings. He felt insecure being around these people.
Zayn rolled his eye's. "Is that supposed to scared me or some s---? I'm not afraid of any of you." He snorted at Morgan and looked the the Russian. "The same f---ing way I lost my eye sight, which by the way is my second power. I accidentally got hit in the eye, causing myself to go slowly and completely blind. Then, one day I can see. That's why my eye's change color's." He looked down.
