"Please.." He coughed, his throat raw and scratchy from the noise he made. He didn't know just how far Cyrus would go in terms of harming anyone that interacted with the lamb, but Basil could only hope he wouldn't bother a shewolf. A mother at that. He also feared that Molly might not disturb her mother's rest just to help him, and though he understood, it made his heart sink. He didn't want to stay tied up like this all night nor did he want to be in the same room as Cyrus. But if the pup did get her mother, the prince would feel less embarrassed about asking for her help. He didn't want another man to see him, so Molly's father was out of the question. Women had a compassion for the hurt and broken that he needed right now.
-
Cyrus closed the door, but didn't bother to lock it. He felt that Molly wouldn't wake up her precious mother, and no one else cared about the lamb to come take a peek in the room. Placing his hands behind his bed, he strode over, a grin on his face. "Aww, little lamb. Getting help from a little kid. You know, she's the one that caused your misfortune in bed. Perhaps you should forget about her." The alpha moved over to Basil, sitting near his head. He carefully untied the shirt, touching the marks that were beginning to form on the lamb's wrists.
-
"You're the one...that chose to f-fight with her.." Basil retorted, coughing harshly between his words. "She means more to me than you ever will." He could hear his voice giving out, his throat ablaze from the noise he'd made. That was it; He refused to speak to the wall any longer partially because his throat was sore but mostly because he was sick of Cyrus. Once his arms were free, the lamb pulled away from the wolf, slowly lifting himself to turn over, facing away from the other once more. He began to shake and his breathing uneven and strained as he ignored Cyrus. Basil wanted to stay awake for help, but found it difficult as his eyes began to fall shut. It was was as if the bed and pillows were softer than they ever were before.
-
"You're the one that got mad at me for fighting her. She had your attention. You belong to me, Basil, not her. I didn't think a pup would be such a problem.." Cryus sighed, listening to his coughing. He heard the other's last words, but they went right out of his ears. The alpha wasn't sure if Molly had actually gone to get her mother or not, and it worried him. He hadn't thought any of the other pack members would shove their noses into his business. Yet, Molly had, and if she brought her family into the fight, he wasn't sure he'd be able to keep Basil to himself. Angry, he clenched his hands, standing. He'd have to go stop the brat before she got her mother to come help Basil. Standing up, getting completely dressed, he stormed from the room.
While Cyrus was gone, Molly took the chance to sneak back into the room. Her heart sank as she saw Basil sleeping there, but she joined him at the foot of her bed. "Help is coming soon, Basil," she whispered to him in his sleep. -
Basil continued to ignore the wolf until he finally stormed out of the room, leaving the lamb completely alone. He slowly pulled unsoiled sheets over his lower half and whimpered at the pain the movement had caused. He shook like a leaf in autumn until he was able to get to sleep. Not long after he could faintly hear Molly's voice echo in his dreamless sleep, her words all unrecognizable except 'help'. And though he peeked at her, he wasn't awake to actually see her. His body rejected the idea of waking up due the abuse he'd suffered, but it was still encouraging to know he'd be getting help from someone.
-
Molly waited the whole time Basil slept for him to wake up. She didn't know how long the exhaustion of being raped would have control, but she would wait until he woke up. As she waited, she recalled her mother mentioning she'd be on her way too. The little wolf did not move from the spot until then, even though Cyrus came in to check on Basil. He had taken a glance at her, growled, gotten some belongings, and left. Whatever part of him the pack had seen for a few hours that was kind and caring was absolutely gone. He was back to being the real Cyrus. "Basil.." The pup cooed to him as he slept, dangling her feet off of the floor. "Wake up soon, okay?"
-
Basil hardly moved in his sleep, falling into a deep slumber that would require rough shaking to rouse him from. He could still feel the pain in his lower half, his legs feeling as if they were weighed down by concrete. Walking would be a challenge the next few days, especially on the first day. He truly doubted he'd be able to walk at all. And though he appreciated Molly being there for him, she wouldn't be able to carry him, nor could she support his weight alone.
It wasn't until late the next morning that the lamb finally awoke, stretching his legs and feeling them shake as he did so. His throat was on fire, his tail throbbed, and his ass sore. He struggled to roll on his side, reaching for his pill bottle weakly. Though he only ended up knocking it to the floor, well out of his comfortable reach, causing a whine to escape him as he didn't expect anyone to get it for him. But there was Molly at the foot of his bed, having waited for him all night. He figured she was asleep and gave her a gentle nudge with his foot, speaking in his dreadfully hoarse voice. "Molly.. Please wake up..." -
Molly had fallen asleep after waiting for a few more hours for Basil. She couldn't leave his side, and she was sure that her parents would be worried that she didn't say a word, but she couldn't help it. Hours later, she heard something like the sound of a little toy dropping. Her ears flicked, and she felt herself slowly waking up. She was a heavy sleeper, but the noise was just sharp enough to rouse her. The pup groaned as she felt a foot touching her; she opened her eyes, her ears floppy. Yawning, the little wolf stretched out her arms, her tail starting to wag as she woke up completely. "Morning, Basil," she said to him, smiling.
-
Basil gave the girl a weak smile when she roused from her sleep. He was going to hurt when he was finished, but he needed to talk to her as best he could. Though his voice was alarmingly scratchy, parched, and sore when he did. "M-Morning.. Um, could you grab my pills..? I dropped them. A-And I need water. It-It hurts s-so much." He told her, trying to swallow but quickly regretting it. The lamb wanted to know why she laid near his feet instead of right next to him like she had before. He even checked to see where the sheets were stained, noting that they were well out of the way. He took deep breaths as he shifted to lie back down, waiting for the pup's response.
-
"Sure thing!" The little pup crawled off of the bed, sliding onto the floor with a soft thud. She walked over to the table, looking down. She couldn't see the bottle of pills, so she had to lay on her tummy and look under the bed. There, she found not only the pill bottle, but a pillow that must have fallen off of the bed at some point. Jumping back up, she set the bottle beside him, skipping to the bathroom to get the lamb some water. Molly returned to his side in seconds, holding the cup out to him. "Sit up, Basil," she cooed. "It's not safe to swallow pills while you're lying down."
-
He listened to her move around, even felt it when she moved around on the bed. Though he appreciated everything the pup did for him, there was only so much she could do. Acting as his nurse and helping him get what he needed to feel better was one of those few things she could do. "Thank you, Molly. And I know.." He told her, smiling as he slowly rolled onto his other side and sitting up as best he could. He took the pill bottle to see his dosage before taking that cup of water as well. He quickly downed the water and medicine, finishing every drop in the cup before setting both things on the bedside table. "You're the best..." He praised and pet her head.
-
Molly waited patiently for the lamb to take the medication. Her tail waved back and forth at a steady pace as she stretched her tired limbs for the second time that morning. She had curled up at the foot of the bed like a cat, and her little back wasn't used to that. The pup cooed in delight as he praised her after he finished the water. "Oh, Basil," she giggled, reaching up to touch his hand. "Thank you. Ahh, wait! My mom said she'll help you. She has a friend she thinks can help you. I told her we'd go find her when you're ready. Soooo, whenever you're ready...!" She rocked on her feet, smiling.
-
Basil flopped back onto the pillows, a soft groan escaping him as his face turned red from embarrassment. "M-Molly.. Can you go get her for me? I don't think..I can walk for a while. A-And I'm not dressed. At all..." His eyes shifted away from the eager pup as he shifted around a bit, still feeling pain inside of himself. It would be awhile before the pain killers kicked in, but he wished they'd work faster. As much as he would rather do things on his own, he had no other choice but to ask Molly to do something as simple as talking to her mother for him.
-
The pup hadn't even noticed before, but now, she realized that he indeed had no clothing. Embarrassed, she scooted back, avoiding looking at him. "Oh, my mother? Of course, I can go get her." Suddenly, the poor wolf was eager to leave the room. She knew Basil wouldn't leave the bed without her out of the room. "I'll go get her right away, don't worry. Get dressed if you can, okay? If you can't, I'm sure my mother can help." With that, she was gone, her tail swishing through the door as she left.
A few minutes later, a gentle knock was at the door. A few voices could be heard murmuring behind it, but one male voice was louder than the other; "May we come in, lamb?" -
He chuckled lightly at her reaction and apologized, making sure the sheets still covered the important parts. "Again..I don't think I can walk. Getting dressed will be hard. I need a bath first anyway." He thanked the pup once more as she hurried out of the room, closing the door behind her. He took the time to relax, breathing deeply to test just how bad his throat had gotten. He wouldn't be surprised if he coughed up blood later. But his moments of silence were disrupted by some noise on the other side of the door, causing him to perk up a bit. He shook a bit at the sound of the voice, pulling the covers over himself even more. "You..You may." Though he was a bit fearful of who would come through the door, he was curious of the small sounds that came from what he assumed were children.
