"It will be easier to get away if you go through the forest. I'll watch from overhead. You probably won't die," Thera said with a small amount of confidence. She moved gracefully from branch to branch. If you didn't know that she had a leg injury, you probably wouldn't be able to tell. But in reality, the injury was causing Tera to begin to slow down.
(I'm sorry about my absence. I'll be slow, but I'm here.) -
It's okay. My phone keeps changing 'with' to a number)
Claireran as best as she could through the forest as she looked up to Trra from time to time to see where she was. She was not as fast as usual and was slowed but she tried to keep at a steady pace as she went through." where are we going?" she asked tera as she leaped over a fallen tree ahead of her. When she landed it only made her leg hurt worse than before and you could see it in her face. -
"Anywhere but here. In other words, I'm not sure. The place where I live is in the opposite direction, so that's not an option." Tera looked out across the trees. If she remembered correctly, the castle was built near a mountain cliff to help against invaders. If they managed to make it down that cliff, then they would probably be in the clear.
Tera sighed. She still didn't understand why she was helping Claire. But for the time being, she would stick with her. It was because of that promise that Tera made to herself that she hoped Claire didn't notice her wound. It would look very unprofessional if a wound was noticeable. -
"I agree." Claire yelled up to Tera as she ran, she was slowing down and started limping in her run more and more with more pressure being applied to her leg. She knew not to stop and treat it, that would just let them catch up to them so she tried to put on a brave face and go through the pain. She looked down to her thigh where she had been stabbed and saw blood was dripping steadily at a slow but not so good rate. "Will I make it? Is this blood in losing too much?" she asked her self as she went on. She was running for her life while risking her life at the same time so she knew it was best if she fought through the pain, at least until they could find a place to rest up and heal and to their wojlds from the castle and the men before.
