Claire looked up to the woman as she opened her eyes and nodded her head to say she would not run away. She could see Better now die to the light coming in from the moon but still had a time making out the woman's face to see if she recognised it at all. She would cooperate with the woman and do what she would tell her to do bexuasr it seemed to be the most logical thing to do at the moment even though she was scared. She tried her best to hide her fear but it still showed itself because she was trembling a bit now and then when she thought about what could be next.

Tera noticed the princess nod, and smiled slightly. She snapped back to attention when she heard the sound of bushes rustling. She turned towards the noise, moving her right hand back to the sheathed knives on her back.
Three men in black cloaks walked out of the thicker area of the forest. They held out a daisy. Tera relaxed her guard a bit, and only a bit. The daisy was the sign of who they were. They were here for the girl.
Tera stepped forward. "I captured the girl. Hand over the reward, and I'll leave you with the girl." The men didn't say anything, nor did they pull anything out. Tera gripped the hilt of one of her knives.
One of the men stepped forward. "About that... You see, it seems that the deal is off." After the man finished his sentence, a throwing knife shot past the side of Tera's face, grazing her cheek. Tera threw one of her knives out of the sheath, and it shot through the air and pierced through one of the men's chest. She called it back into her hand and turned to the princess. She snapped her fingers and the Soul Snare vanished, releasing the princess. "Run," Tera yelled, tugging on the princess's arm as she ran past. -
Just saw this)
Claire saw the men and heard her tell to run so she stood and started to run in behind of her. "What is this?' she said running around behind her closely. She knew it would be safer with her than to stay with the men, no telling what whey would do of she stayed there. She went as fast as she could behind her through the forest hoping she could hide away somewhere from the men following them bwhind -
(It's fine. Take your time.)
Tera shook her head as she ran through the forest alongside the girl who was her target just a few minutes ago. "I... I don't know. I was instructed to deliver the target to that location. I should have been more careful. And now that I think about it, I could faintly sense bloodlust," Tera said. Then she murmured, "I should have considered this..."
Tera removed the second dagger from its sheath. She released her grip on the knives and let them hover in midair. "I'll kill them now. You can either run away, or you can stay here. I don't care which you choose, just don't die. I said that you would be safe until I delivered you. So I believe that I have a duty to get you back to your room alive." -
Okay)
"I was this target? Why?" claire asked runninf along down the woods and trees. She was confused but her best choice would be to keep with the woman it seemed in her mind. Claire kept running along the way down the way back to her room and the castle "I'll try to keep going on, but what if more are waiting ahead? She asked worried about getting caught by the men. -
Tera frowned slightly. "I don't know why, I'm not the one who judges, I'm the one who delivers judgement." She readied her blades in front of her as she continued. "If there are more, then run back towards me." One of the men emerged from the forest and immediately one of her daggers pierced the man's heart. "I didn't want to kill anyone tonight," she lamented.
-
Claire continued on her way back as she yelled back to her so she could hear "okay." she was scared for her lie, she did not want to die tonight and was unaware at why they wanted her. She came out of the Forrest to a small opening where any of them could come out of anywhere and attack her. She decided to cautiously pass by the area at a steady pace watching around herself.
-
Tera attempted to kill the next man how she did the previous one, but he was expecting it. He parried the blade and ran towards Tera. She called the blade back into her hand and parried the man's attack. They were at a stalemate for a while. She would try to stab him with one dagger, then actually aim with the other, put he always dodged or parried. Tera would never let the man get close to her, so she was never in danger of dying. Tera sent both daggers at the man, and ran towards him. As the man parried the daggers, Tera grabbed one of his arms, twisted it, and pushed the man onto the ground. She pulled out a needle and stabbed it into his neck.
Tera sighed, stepping away from the man. She was sweating a bit, and her breathing was heavy. She still wasn't used to using magic. Not even after all this. She straightened up and looked around for anymore men. She suddenly felt a sharp pain in her leg. There was a throwing knife in her thigh. It didn't penetrate very deep, but it hurt. She sent a dagger in the direction the knife came from as she pulled the knife out of her leg. She held a yell of agony from the tree, that confirmed the death of the ranged fighter. -
Claire got to the middle of the clearing when she saw three men come out from ahead of her. " no, ,,, no." She said as she stepped back watching them. "What did she say? If I see any go back to her, right?" she asked herself as the men for closer. One three a knife at her which landed directly in front of her going into the ground. Claire yelled as she turned back and ran as fast as she could back to the woman. Claire had no weapon to defend herself with at the moment and would be of no use without her armlet as well which helped her with her magical abilities.

Tera reached into a small bag hanging off of her belt and pulled out a bandage roll, a small jar, a cloth, and a small container of water. She sat down and pulled up the left side of her skirt so that she could see where the injury was on her thigh. There was quite a bit of blood, but as she expected, it wasn't a deep cut.
She wet the cloth with water and wiped away the blood. She would have liked to have been more careful, but she was in a hurry. She opened the small jar. It contained an herbal gel. She rubbed some of it onto the bandage, then she wrapped the bandage around her thigh. She immediately felt her wound stinging as a side effect of the gel. Gritting her teeth, Tera put away the items she had pulled out.
If it was a more active battle, she wouldn't have had time to tend to that wound, even crudely. But she was lucky that it wasn't an extremely active battle. At least not for her. Tera stood up, straightening her dress. She began to walk back towards the castle. Hopefully the girl hadn't run into anyone. If she had, then Tera would figure it out pretty quickly.
Glancing down Tera noticed something about herself that had changed. "Aww... They got blood all over the skirt of the dress." -
Claire started running back towards the woman who said to run, as she got closer to where she was the men slowly caught up to her. They were fast and agile if she had her shoes still on she would have ran faster but she had been taken from her sleep after she had removed them. It hurt her feet to run like this because the stumps and roots were hard as rock and a few spores were there and she kept stepping on them.
She ran by a tree and grabbed a low branch as she passed and released it which knocked out one of the men chasing her but the other two kept in pursuit of her and closed in quickly. "Help!" she yelled knowing they would catch her if she did not do something quick. -
Tera heard the sound of the girl's voice and immediately began to run towards it. She held her daggers in her hands. Within a minute, she had caught up with the girl. She ran past her and released the daggers. The knives dove into the men's chests, and Tera walked over and finished off the man that was out cold.
"Nice job with this one," she said, pointing down. She frowned, pacing a bit and looking around. "Still, they are surprisingly weak..." She murmured. 'I'm not that skilled in fighting, and they weren't a challenge. It's almost as if it's a trap,' she added in her mind. -
Claire stopped as she went past her and watched as the daggers flew at the men. She shivered a bit as a big gust of wind came past and went against her skin. She walked a bit towards throb one she had knocked out "yeah, I guess So." she said looking up to the woman. "Why are they weak though If this was their plan?" she asked a bit worriedly walking around to calm herself.
-
"The most likely possibility is that it's a trap. But I can't be sure of that yet. In any case, I need to get you back to the castle." Tera began walking in the direction of the castle. She sheathed her daggers while walking. Then she wondered why she was helping this girl. She was her target less then an hour ago. She sighed. She really wasn't cut out to be an assassin.
-
" A trap? Could there be more coming soon?" Claire asked shivering as the wind blew a bit harder. It was a bit cold out there and the wind was not helping at all but make it colder out there to her. "Yeah, lets go back. Why are you helping me though?" she asked out of curiosity as she started to walk past the trees and thick bushes along the way back to the castle.
