Claire looked to her father, King Jack then back to the woman. "What now?" she asked as she slowlyreached and grabbed the staff and put the daggers in place on her. She was a bit scared and stood up and walked over to Teri.
The King drew out his sword and took a step towards the two of them with the guards. "No where to go now but down. You thereon, assassin, you know it was I who hired you right? Sonic you want to get that payment you will either kill her where she stands now or hand her over to me! Afterwards, you have 5 seconds to get out alive " he said demandingly. -
Tera thought about her options. There weren't many, and the ones that guaranteed her own safety the most were the options where she would sacrifice Claire. But she wasn't about to let all of her hard work go to waste.
"Oh, so you're the client." Tera resummoned the Soul Snare and sent it to bind Claire once again. Tera sighed. "This job wasn't an assassination request, therefore I'm not going to kill her. I'll hand her over."
She dragged the binded girl over to the King. "I always demand payment first. Hand me the money, and I'll hand you the girl." -
Claire struggled as she was caught up in the snare she was trapped there and being handed over by who she thought she could trust. She looked back to Get a as a few years fell down her face and closed her eyes shut facing forward again.
Jack had a guard hold out a bag to her and droop ed it to the floor "there you go your payment.." he said snatching at Claire bonded up and looking at her face. "This is it with you, time to let this 32nd." he said angrily. Suddenly a guard swing his sword at Tera rmtrying to hit her before she got the bag. -
Tera sighed, however an amused smirk was on her face. A dagger flew out of its sheath and parried the blade moving towards her. "You shouldn't point swords at people." She picked up the pouch of money and slipped it in her bag. "However, no one said anything about knives."
With that, the dagger shot forwards, and stabbed thw guard through a gap in his armour. Tera kicked another guard in the face while parrying the sword of another with one of her daggers. She lightly snapped her fingers and the Soul Snare loosened. It wasn't extremely notcieable, but Claire should have noticed it. Hopefully she would take the hint. -
Claire felt the snare loosen up and she could move around in it better. She squirmed and wiggled as it slowly began to fall down to the ground but it fell slowly. She calmed her breathing and hoped it would help it get off faster but her heartbeat kept at a faast beat.
Jack saw the woman attack and take the guards and he released Claire and took a knife throwing it pushing it into her thigh and tossed her to her bed and she rolled across it into the floor. He took his sword and swiftly swing at Tara barely gwting her shirt with the swing. -

(Alright, thank you. Sorry if I made it awkward there, I was just a bit confused.)
Tera was caught by surprise as she felt a sword graze her back. Judging by the stinging pain, it cut a little bit. She cringed and snapped her fingers once again, releasing the Soul Snare. Tera turned back to the King. "You play dirty, you know that?"
She backstepped a bit while sending the knives flying towards the King. She winced as pain flared up in her left leg. Her wound had reopened. "Great..." She murmured. -

Claire realised she was free from the snare but the knife stab in her leg made it hard for her to stand. She looked besid her and grabbed her staff seeing it there and lenghtened it, using it to help her stand up good. "Uggh... Why?" she asked as she struggled to stand good.
Jack smirked at Tera and three a small knife at her but missed a bit. "I know." he said tank ing back on it making it go towards Claire grazing her arm a bit. " as for you, my daughter, I never loved you so why not!" he said readying his sword to strike again. -
Tera decided to set her knives to the defensive and placed them up around the King. She turned towards where Claire was. "Pull out the knife, take the Soul Snare and jump from the balcony. If you channel magic into the Snare it should protect you. You shouldn't die of blood loss very quickly."

Claire nodded to tera as she reached down and yanked on the knife letting out a loud growl as it came out. She three it to the ground and picked up the soul snare from the ground beside her and walked as fast as she could to the balcony jumping off of it from the edge as she fell and tried to out a bit of magic into the snare as she went down.
Jack saw her go and knew to get past tera to get his daughter so he swung again at her trying to hit her. "Out of my way!" he orderer as the sword came down. -
Since her knives wouldn't make it from their position, Tera moved to the right a bit and the sword cut her left arm a bit. "Sorry, can't stay long. Your daughter took something that belongs to me, and I want to get it back."
She called her knives back into their sheaths, and then she ran and leaped from the balcony railing. She landed on a nearby tree branch and was forced to crouch. Blood was dripping from her bandage, meaning the bandage was ruined. She would have to replace it later.
The Soul Snare glowed slightly and the scroll-like magic item lengthened and formed a circle around the princess. A dim light glowed from the princess's chest as the circled was formed. When they reached the ground, the Snare floated lightly to the ground, carrying the princess's body with it. Then the Snare fell to the ground. -
Claire felt it open and fell to the ground slowly and landed on it and did not get hurt. It was a good landingand she sighed at relief that she was safe still as she atiid up to her feet and stumbled from a bit of pain in her leg.
Jack three a knife at tera as she leaped but missed her. "Ugh' he yelled as he walked out to the balcony and looked for them spotting Claire below on the ground. -
Tera made the Snare disappear after Claire had landed. She turned towards Claire and shouted, "If you value your life, then I recommend running. Because your father certainly doesn't." Then she turned and ran across tree branches.

Claire looked up to tera and liarensd before she started to slowly run 28th a limp through the forest a d trees. She knew she had to get away fast before they saw where she was headed. She tried to follow yet a as she ran through 27th her staff in her hands.
