Fefeta NewbieRiley looked at the Queen before running after Calanthe. "Calanthe! Wait!" he said as he caught up to her.
-
(Uhhh.)
-
Fefeta Newbie(Oh! Sorry it's me in another account :P)
-
(Oh.)
Calanthe stopped as Riley stopped her. "Can I just be alone right now?" She asked trying not to be to mean or rude. -
Riley sighed. "Yes, of course princess. Just.. stay in the palace walls please." he said pointing to the gates "It's dangerous outside" he bowed and walked back inside.
-
Calanthe sighed and just nodded. She fell to the ground with pain in her heart. "Are you ok, Princess Calanthe" A fawn came out of the trees walking towards her. "No.".
-
Riley went inside and sighed, running a hand in his hair. The Queen looked up with a sad expression. "What did she say?" she asked. Riley sighed and sat down "She wanted to be alone." he said and looked at his hands.
Roa nodded. "Do you think I'm making the right choice? Keeping her away?" she asked.
Riley looked at her "The right choice is always the hardest" -
"What's wrong Princess?". "My mother turned me away to live with people I don't even know." Calanthe said. "Princess, Your mother just wants the best for you because she wants to keep you safe from the darkness." The fawn said sitting down next to Calanthe.
-
Roa nodded. "So young man, what's going on between you and my daughter"
Riley looked at her and blushed. Had he really been that readable? "N-Nothing you majesty" he said.
Roa made a 'I don't believe you' face. "Riley, I've known you since you were a baby, and you don't just hug anyone. And you don't blush like that either" she said with a smirk.
Riley smiled lightly. "I think I have feelings for her" he said.
Roa smiled big. "You should tell her that"
Riley shook his head. "There are more important things right now"
Roa smiled and rubbed his back. "You'll know when the time is right"
Riley looked out the window at Calanthe sitting with a fawn. -
"I know that but it's not fair. I want to be able to wake up every morning and see my mother." Calanthe said. "Princess, you just need to wait for now. Your mother will soon get you." the fawn said. Calanthe started to cry again.
-
Riley sighed, wishing he could help her, but knew his presence would make it worse. This is part of the reason he didn't want to bring Calanthe here tonight. He knew that it was hard, learning that everything you thought you knew was wrong.
-
Calanthe stood up and paced. "Hello Princess." a voice said from inside the woods. "Hello." Calanthe asked. "What's wrong?" The boy came out and it was Cailean. Cailean is a friend of Calanthe.
-
Riley watched a boy come out of the woods. He stiffened slightly but Calanthe seemed to know the boy so he relaxed slightly. But where hd the oy come from?
-
"No-nothing." Calanthe said. "Calanthe, I know you since we were 5, and I know when your sad and somethings wrong!" He said. "I'm fine. It's just family problems.". "With Queen Roa?". "Yeah."
"Why don't you visit your aunt?" Cailean said. "I can't. I'm gonna get in trouble.". -
Riley sighed and paced lightly, deciding if he should go out there or not. He didn't know the boy and was suspicous but Calanthe seemed to know him. He had a bad feeling in his gut.
