Soul groaned, "I'm never letting you guard again." He played, but understood it was serious. He looked to the children, "Go out the back, go. Whistle when you're safe in the air. I'll hold them off if need be. I'll be there soon." The urgency in his voice surprised him, even. He looked to the mutations with foul eyes. "Damn.." His eyes widened.
Marshall was whirling around in circles, scared. Her instincts weren't getting her too far. In fact, she thought about nothing. Her body was shaking intensely. She hated times like these. Marshall was strong, sure, but she didn't do well in combat by herself. She was so afraid of being alone. She never told anyone, either. She just hoped that the younger ones were okay..Marshall knew Soul could take care of himself and them. -
Raven was startled for a moment and then completely disregarded anything anyone had said for the past few minutes. She smirked and the punched what held onto her, grabbing the shirt of it she held on then kicked it hard with the toe of her boot. She chuckled softly, she really loved her steel toe boots. She let go when the kick impacted and delivered a nice punch to the face. That was when she felt the impact of a hit on the back on her head, Ravens vision I on went blury and she stumbled forwards. Her vision I on cleared just in time to be blurred again. Raven sucked in a breath, "I should listen better..." She spun around with a round house kick hitting something with a growl, "Like hell! I'd never say that mutt." She was full of excitement but still blurred up.

Crash's eyes were filled tears as he took off, wings beating frantically. "R-Raven, Spike," he stared down with wide eyes, watching his friends being attacked. He wanted to help, but he knew he wasn't strong enough. He managed a faint whistle for Soul, hovering above the forest.
Spike was doing her best to fight the monster off her, but it had her pinned. It raked its claws across her wing and she cried out, kicking wildly. She managed to knock the creature off for a second, but then it was back snarling and clawing at her.
Another two of the monsters had surrounded Marshall, circling closer and reaching out to grab the girl, growling at her. The shouts of the scientists could be heard below. "Capture as many as you can!" -
Soul bolted off. He was soon flying into the night sky, his white wings glittering in the moonlight. He hovered when he got to Crash. "You okay?" He asked, knowing he had to protect him. Soul couldn't let anything happen to him- he was very young. Soul being the oldest in the group, he often felt this was about everyone in the group. But right now, Crash's life was imperial.
Marshall kicked at them, hovering in the air. "For the love of God..do you every stop?!" She yelled at them, kicking at them. Marshall's aggressive side was just beginning to come out. Soon, she would become very, very angry. This wouldn't be a good thing. Possibly not for herself, either. She made rash decisions when she was mad. -
Raven blinked rapidly trying to clear up her vision, it started back to come back, "Why are their so many?" She groaned, "Spike got a plan? One would nice right about now." Raven said moving out of the way so something didn't grab her. Raven opened her mouth to say something when a gag was brought to her mouth, it was pulling her back and she went with it. Her arms went up towards the persons face and she dragged her hands down on the face digging her nails in hard, their was an odd noise and the pull was gone. Raven stumbled forwards landing on her knees she gasped for breath and glared behind her to see the screaming thing. That was when something hit her head and everything went black.

"Soul, Crash, get out of here!" Spike heard Raven calling to her, and she tried to respond, but she was cut off when the creature scratched its claws across her wing again. She yelped in pain, and something knocked her to the ground. Her vision flickered, and soon enough, everything was black.
Crash looked like he was about to cry. "Spike, she's hurt! R-Raven too, we have to help them, we have to!" he yelled, his smaller wings beating quickly. -
"No, don't. They can take care of themselves. We've gotta go." Soul's eyes gleamed. It was a hard decision. He didn't like having to make the call, but he had no other choice. "I'm sorry, I know it's hard, but we have to leave them. We can't have all of us being captured. It's too risky to try and save them. If we get captured too, all Hell will break loose." Soul grabbed Crash's arm, and gently began to fly off, not taking much input from them.
Marshall was running out of energy. She had less of an urge to fight. She was getting dragged to the ground. They were too strong. She tried to kick them off, but she was weak. She was being pinned and surrounded. Marshall didn't like this fate, she'd rather die, but there was no way to death from here. Plus, she needed to be there for the rest. -
Crash was crying softly, but obediently followed Soul, holding onto his arm tightly. "A-Are they gonna be o-okay?" He asked, his eyes wide and shining with worry.
When Spike woke up, her entire body was filled with a dull ache. She groaned and shifted, cringing when sharp pain shot through her wing. She remembered flying with Marshall, being attacked... her eyes flew open, fear coursing through her. She'd been kidnapped, and some of the others probably had too. She stared through the bars of the cage she was in, looking around and hoping the others were safe. -

Raven groaned rolling over on her side her hand went up to her head pressing against the spot it hurt trying to make it stop and her hand got wet, she lifted her hand off and put her hand in front of her face her finger tips were covered in blood, "Well that's not a good sign... That's bad right?" She said to herself, she raked through her mind, "I think I remember everything..." She was now mumbling to herself about random stuff that sucked and had her hand held against the blood hoping that's where the cut was.
