Antonio perked up when the subject was changed a bit, and he shook his head. "No, I like you're family. They might be a little funny but they're very nice."
-
Lovino shrugged in reluctant agreement. "What about you? Big family?" He stopped Feliciano for a moment to order something for both of them. "Sorry, but trust me, you'll thank me for ordering for you in a minute."
-
(*your omgggg)
Antonio shrugged at Lovino ordering for him, trusting the Italian knew more about what food would be good than he did. "No, just my mom and dad." -
"No brothers or sisters?" he chuckled. "You're lucky. Are your parents nice?" he asked curiously, assuming that someone as cheerful as Antonio must've grown up with a perfect family.
-
Antonio shook his head at the first question, and shrugged at the second one. He didn't ever talk about his parents to anyone, but mostly because he didn't really care for them. "They're alright, I guess."
-
"Alright?" Lovino hesitated, uncertain if he should press for more information or not. "Uh, do you get along? You don't have to tell me." he added hurriedly, not wanting to make Antonio upset.
-
Antonio shrugged again, but he didn't want to keep anything from Lovino. He said, "No, not really. They're very.. Traditional, you know?"
-
Lovino pursed his lips, nodding in understanding. "Oh, right. I'm sorry, that sucks. My Papa's the same way, only he didn't like me even before he knew we were dating." he laughed dryly. Feliciano returned then, setting down two bowls of pasta, covered in a creamy white sauce. Lovino inhaled, sighing blissfully at the smell.
-
Antonio nodded, feeling awkward until the food came. He smiled, and thanked Feliciano, looking down at the pasta, which definitely looked good. "So what is it?" He asked Lovino, looking up at him.
-
"Secret family recipe," Lovino replied with a wink. "But trust me, it's really good." he assured, taking another long sip of his wine. "Do we have to be at the studio later, or was it just the interview today?" he asked. If they had the rest of the day off, maybe they could go back to his house and relax or something.
-
Antonio nodded, picking up his fork and twisting some of the noodles around it. "Oh, I think we have the day off. We can go to my house, or your's."
-
"Oh good, I already needed a day off thanks to our evil director." Lovino sighed with a fleeting little smile. He sipped his wine and took a bite of his pasta, moaning in approval. "Mm, if there's one thing my Mama can do, it's cook," he hummed. "So, where d'you want to go? I don't really care."
-
Antonio nodded, and tried a bite of his food. Lovino was right- it was so, so good. He smiled, and hummed in appreciation before swallowing. "I don't know, do you just want to go home and lay around? Tomato probably misses me.."
-
Lovino rolled his eyes. "Maybe you and that damn cat should be the one to film together, you're awfully attached." he observed sarcastically, raising an eyebrow. "But yeah, that sounds good. Actually, would you mind staying by yourself there for just a little while? I've got something important to do- I won't be long, I promise."
-
Antonio giggled, but it was true that he was a little fond of Lovino's kitten. He missed his own dog, so he was kind of making up for it. "Sure, Lovi. No problem. What do you have to do?"
