(Uh.....*blinks*its after the 100 year time span.)
-
(But like... modern? A few hundred years ago...?)
-
(Uh....crap I should have made it clearer, but I don''t know really. where ever we want it to be?)
-
(I'm going with modern, because things will have changed a lot and "gasp you don't have wifi??" And because of that let's change my previous post so that's she's riding her bike instead of walking. If you need me to edit and repost I can)
She leaned her bike against the wall, knowing that leaving it outside could lead to it being stolen, even out in what seemed to be close to the middle of nowhere. She removed her jacket, then her second one, both of which were soaked through. After hanging these up, Essie turned, shivering, to look at the room she was standing in. It was an entryway, but one that looked more like an old, historical museum than anything she'd ever felt comfortable in. She stood, arms crossed from the cold of her drenched dress--the forecast had been overcast and a little chilly, but not this!-- and glanced around the room, afraid to touch anything. -
(nah its fine~ :3 wait...biking up a mountain is like an extreme thing right? think of it like the beast castle entrance way.)
David frowned slightly when he finally got to one of the stairways that lead to the entryway of the mansion when he hid behind a curtain, seeing a stranger in his place was never new, considering he was the man who technically "killed" most of the people that entered his place. He kept slight stony look on his face as he started walking further past the curtain he was hiding behind. He held a hand behind his back.
"What are you doing here?" his voice rang through the entryway with a slight echo off the walls and arches above them, his voice sounding slightly cold. -
Essie froze. "I... uh, I'm sorry sir, but it's pretty stormy outside, and I was wondering if I could stop here and dry off? I didn't mean for it to be a problem." Her involuntary host didn't sound very welcoming or polite, so she tried to sound weak and docile, hoping he'd take pity on her. Which was something she actually needed tonight.
-
He kept walking until he reached the marble flooring at the end of the stairs, which during that whole time his shoes he wore didn't even make a sound, much less make the stairs creak as he walked. He walked slowly up to her, still intimidating as he was on the stairs. "Do you even know whee you are and even who I am?" he stopped just in front of her and loomed over her.
-
She watched as he walked over, and refused to step back. If he was trying to make her prove herself, she wouldn't give him the satisfaction of winning. She stood tall, despite being anything but that. "No sir, I don't. Well, not exactly, at least."
Damn, he was scary. She was starting to regret stopping by. -
He frowned lightly. "Maybe they don't tell my story anymore to children." he glanced past her to where the doors were and saw some mud had been tracked inside. "You tracked mud into my home." He growled lightly under his breath. "That is hard clean enough and now I'll probably have to get someone up here." He glared at her coldly. "Get out now before I make sure you never are seen again."
-
"Ohhh, are you the guy who they talk about every prom?" she said, pausing after she noticed his confused expression. "Every year in high school they told this story about how two students left after prom, drove out into the woods out here, and started making out, probably having sex, who knows, who cares? Anyway, apparently some creeper living in the woods caught them and murdered them. They were found a week later, and their car was completely ruined. It was mostly a scare tactic."
She smiled at him. "But I'm not a fan of scare tactics. I'll help clean up the mud if you let me dry off. Deal?" -
He blinked lightly and snorted. Kids were weirder than when when he was younger. "I only kill people who enter, not people who tresspass four miles from my place." He glanced at her."Grr....fine just clan up the mess and leave tomorrow." He started to stalk back up the stairs. "bad enough tourists come around here...." he grumbled lightly.
-
"I have no clue where anything is," she called after him, then pulled off her rain boots, leaving them by the door. "Unless you expect me to just wander around the house."
He was terrifying, but she didn't back down easily. And now she had what she wanted. -
He stopped and sighed irritatedly, cuasing him to turn around. "The items to clean the entrance area ae in the door over there." He sighed more, still a bit irritated.
-
"Also, where's the bathroom? I should probably change." Nessa lifted the backpack she'd brought up, and with the other hand, gestured to her soaked-through dress. She'd only brought a set of grubby pajamas and another dress, as she'd expected to only stay one night at her destination. Changing into the pajamas would probably be the better of the two options. She glanced at the door he'd gestured to, making a note of where the supplies were.
-
He growled again, one of his hands changing quickly and soon changing back to nrmal in a flash. he stormed over to her and grabbed her wrist, not saying a word to her and started walking. The girl asked so many questions, it annoyed him a bit, b she would be gone tomorrow hopefully. He kept walking ang grumbling to himself slightly until he stopped at a door, opening it slowly and shoving her in. "Stay here."
