"nurse? There is a boy in the gathering room who wants a nurse." -
Chris cracked a smile. "Irony' always good when your dying," he said. "I have Intramedullary tumors, which is basically blocking the nerves off of my legs. How long do you have till you die?"

Lilly and the nurse went back to the gathering room

"Chris.." Said his regular nurse.
"What?" He asked. "I thought my legs were good enough."
".." The nurse sighed. "I'll get your wheelchair.." She walked out, to his room.
"So.." Chris looked back to Devin. "How long?" -
care_bear19 Novice"Probably about a year, maybe a year and a half" she said unsurprisedly.

"Huh," Chris shrugged. "Back when I was first diagnosed, I had only a few months. That was three years ago. God just loves tormenting me.." He rolled his eyes.

care_bear19 NoviceDeven nodded. "They gave me 3 months when I was diagnosed. 4 years later still pumping. Thanks to my pacemaker. Sound like a 40 year old not a 13 year old" she said sighing

"Well, at least you don't-" he stopped, and instead asked, "Curious, what blood type are you?"

Lilly sits back down and listens to thier conversation. She quietly knits. (she knits by the way lol)

(One has a pacemaker, one has bowel problems, and the last knits. Are we sure we aren't controlling grandparents?))

Lilly knits her sweater for her grandmother.
"well isn't Grandma suppose to knit ME a sweater instead of me acting like the 90 year old?" she thought to herself -
Sam saw 3 kids talking to each other about her own age,but she was too shy to talk to them.so she just sat a few meters from them and watched,although she was too far to hear anything.
