A nurse came in but lia was already asleep so the nurse wrapped teh blanket around her and her cat

care_bear19 NoviceDeven couldn't sleep and she just stared at the ceiling thinking. She heard a ding as her music stopped for a second and she checked her iPod. She had a message from an old friend "Hey, long time no see! How are you? Wanna hang this weekend?!" She sigh and rolled her eyes slightly as she deleted the message and didn't respond.

Holding the tissue on his leg, Chris heard a nurse walk in. "Would you like to use the bathroom?" She asked him.
"No," Chris muttered, dabbing the fresh wound.
"Well, you have to go to bed now. Would you like me-"
"I can do it myself," He snapped quickly. "Just turn off the lights.."
The nurse nodded. "Goodnight, Chris.." She flipped the switch and closed the door.
Sighing, Chris slowly got up from the chair, balancing on his good leg. He hopped onto the bed, pulling his numb leg up with him. Chris pulled the covers over himself, and went to sleep. -
Sam was so deep in her dream that she didn't hear her cell phone ring.

Soon it was the next morning and Lilly woke up feeling a bit better

Chris woke up to a pain in his back. "Ugh..." He groaned, massaging his back. His feet were cold. "I might be able to walk today.." He muttered, pressing a button. A few minutes later, a nurse opened the door.
"Yes?" She asked.
"Can you get me my pain pills?" He asked. "I think they're over there.." He pointed across the room. The nurse nodded, getting the orange bottle.
"He you go, Chris," She said, giving him the bottle. He quickly took it, opening it. "Do you need water?" She asked. He responded swallowing two pills dry.
"Thanks," he said after a minute, putting the half-empty bottle on the bed. "What's happening today?"
"Er, I'll have to check.." She said.
"Then do that," he told her, sitting off the edge of the bed. She nodded, getting out of his room. -

care_bear19 NoviceDeven woke up screaming. She hyper ventilated and clutched her chest slightly as her heart worked hard to beat. A doctor and a nurse burst in the room along with Deven's Father.
"Deven what's wrong?!?" Her father asked hugging her tightly. She hugged him back.
"I'm sorry I just had a nightmare" she mumbled. The doctor and nurses left the room. -
Lilly got up and looked in the mirror. She frowned at her head. " I miss my hair" (in the hospitel there is a gathering room where the patients just hang out) she gets dressed and walks to the gathering room.

The nurse walked back into Chris's room. "There's nothing scheduled today," she told him. "Or he forgot to post it again..." She muttered offhandedly. "So, you can do whatever you want."
Chris nodded. "Alright. Can I use crutches instead? I can feel heat and crap."
Mulling over it for a second, she shrugged. "I don't see the problem. Go ahead." She got the crutches and gave them to Chris. "No one else has used them."
"Thanks.." Chris said, adjusting to them. Before moving, he made sure his gameboy was with him. "I'm going to the cancer room," he told her, moving towards the gathering/rec. room. -
care_bear19 Novice"It's alright sweetie." Deven's father said rocking her slightly and stroking her head. She cried into her fathers shoulder. She let go and wiped her tears. "You alright?" he asked her. Deven nodded. "I'm okay. I think I'm gonna get dressed and go to the gathering room" she said. Her father nodded. "Alright, I'm off to work. Call me if you need me" he said as he kissed her forehead and left. Deven got dressed, put in her headphones, and walked to the gathering room.

Lilly took a seat. She looked around the room. The little tiny children with cancer were coloring. The ones who were a bit older were watching kiddie shows on tv. She was the first one around her own age there.
