Ash was completely red now and had to stand up, gently pulling her hand away. "You.. You lost a lot of blood. I don't think you're feeling okay.. I can go find the nurse?"

Arturo frowned when Ash pulled his hand away and bit his lip. He shook his head, looking up at the younger. "I feel fine--I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable.." He said with a small sigh. He understood that some people didn't take flirting well but he thought maybe he had a small chance with the new boy.

Ash slowly sat back down. "You didn't make me uncomfortable. I'm just afraid you're delusional and won't remember anything." She made a face at the thought. "Wouldn't want you saying something you regret."

"I am not delusional! And I don't regret anything I ever say, delusional or not.." He said with a reassuring smile, leaning towards the younger. He squinted, eyeing his face. "You have really long eyelashes.." He said, cupping the younger chin in his hand gently as he examined Ash's eyes carefully. He had been taught to give people a lot of personal space at home but never really listened and often crossed the line.

Ash stared at Arturo like he was a nut case for getting so close but just shrugged. "I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables.." She tried to ignore how nice Arturo's hand felt on her cheek, but couldn't help it. She stared into his eyes, kind of dazed.

Arturo didn't notice the look as he leaned forward more to get a closer look at his eyelashes. "It's not fair. I want long eyelashes.." He said with a frown. "Hey, close your eyes. I want to see how far they go down."

Ash raised an eyebrow and deemed him obsessed with eyelashes. Granted, hers were rather long, even for a girl's, but she rarely made mention of this, and often had some hair hiding them. But with the new haircut, they were left exposed. She looked at him questioningly before slowly closing her eyes.

Arturo's eyes gleamed as he examined the dark hairs. It was true, he had a HUGE obsession with eyelashes. He gently stroked Ash's eyelashes from where they started to where they curled at the end. Satisfied, he leaned forward and pressed a gentle kiss to Ash's eyelashes before pulling away and beaming. "You can open them now."

Ash turned pinker than bubblegum and opened her eyes. "What.. What was that for?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. You're just so pretty, I couldn't help myself," Arturo responded with a smile. Most people wouldn't use pretty or beautiful as words to describe another guy, but it was the truth and Arturo only spoke the truth. That was probably the only thing he picked up from his parents whenever they were ranting about Christianity.

Ash blinked a few times, worried at the compliment. "I-I'm pretty?" She tried to act calm, but that was the first step to people discovering her secret, and she was worried.

Arturo nodded, completely oblivious to Ash's strange reaction. "You really are. You're one of the prettiest guys I've met. And no, I don't tell everyone that," he said with a slight chuckle, gazing at the younger fondly. His head was still throbbing a bit from the fall but that wasn't on his mind right now.

Ash relaxed a little at the word "guys." She smiled and stared at her hands, really not knowing how to take the compliment. Although she was uncomfortable with her female body, she still really liked guys. She wasn't sure how to respond, though, so she just kept silent and stared red- faced at the ground.

Arturo tilted his head as he looked Ash over, nibbling on his bottom lip slightly. "You don't say very much, do you?" He asked with a smile, flashing his perfect teeth. "Why do you have to be so adorable?" He cooed, not realizing that all he's done since he got into the nurse's office was compliment Ash.

Ash shrugged, peering up at Arturo. "I just don't know what to say.." She blushed again and looked at the wall. "Are you sure you're feeling alright?" She glanced over and tried to see his bandage, suddenly wanting to make sure that it wasn't bleeding again, partly so she would have something to do with her eyes and hands.
