He looked over, pretending to be terrified. "Please don't shoot!" He raised his hands in defense, shielding himself from the smaller human. "I was just c-curious! It's not every day that something like that c-crashes out h-here!"
-
She raised her gun and frowned. "Stop acting like you're a human. I can tell your not and well a few other reasons." She looked at him lazily. "Give me a reason why I shouldn't tag and bag you, because I'd love to hear that reason."
-
He gave her the most confused look. "What the hell are you talking about?" He took a few steps backward, prepared to break into a run. Who was this human? He had no idea they'd be armed like this.
-
She sighed and aimed for his foot. "I really do hate when you people lie to me." She pulled the trigger and a dart shot straight into his foot. "First, if you were planning on acting like you didn't just run out from the brush, I would have checked for cuts." She pointed the gun slightly at his arms. "Second, you don't lie very well."
-
He tried not to scream, mainly from shock, as the dart hit his shoe. "Please, I don't want to cause any trouble..." He continued to back up, about to break into a run. He wasn't doing anything wrong, why was she attacking him?
-
She smiled lightly. "Right that's what all aliens say, you know if I was a rookie I would have fell for that, but I'm not." She loaded another dart in. "Now I really don't want to shoot you in the back if you decide to run, I'd be a pain to carry you to HQ or home so..." she pondered for a moment. " Eh. Maybe my people would like information out of you."
-
"I'll do what you want, as long as you don't shoot again. Please." He held up his satchel defensively, as if he could hide his entire self behind the bag. Blink had been exiled, he had no desire to fight. In fact, that was why he'd been removed from his society.
-
She sighed lightly and turned the dial backwards on her watch, making the gun disappear in a flash. She walked over to him slowly and bent down, takingthe empty dart out of his foot. She stood up and started walking. "Well you better follow me then before your whole left side falls asleep."
-
He followed behind her for a little while, planning an escape plan. He could easily overpower her if he needed to, or rip off her own band and use the tranquilizing gun on her. After that, he'd be far, far away by morning, trying his best to blend in amongst humans. However, his left foot started to grow numb, and he knew there was no point. He'd just have to stick with her for a while.
-
She of course kept walking towards the apartment building she was staying in and sighed. "I'm sorry about your foot and shooting you with a dart." She glanced back at him. "I didn't know you if you'd be hostile or not so...protocol kicked in." She soon turned back around and kept walking to the building and opened the front door for him to go through the tiny lobby her building had.
-
If he had a weapon, perhaps he could... too late. As he stepped into the apartment building, he realized it was too late for him to actually conduct an escape. At this point, running would only make things worse. He quickly swept the room with his gaze, realizing there were no other humans present. The disguise, on the other hand, was starting to grow uncomfortable. It'd take some getting used to.
-
She rolled her eyes and grabbed his wrist, rushing to the elevator and hoping no one really payed attention to either if them. She pushed the button for the fourth floor and watched the doors close, she still had a good grip on his wrist as the elevator lurched up and climbed to the fourth floor.
-
Being dragged over to the elevator took him by surprise, and as soon as the doors closed, he tried to yank his hand from the human's grip. "Let go of me. Where are you taking me?"
-
She blinked and let go of his wrist quickly. "My place, well my apartment to be exact." She glanced at him. "I'm guessing you don't actually look human do you?" She tilted her head curiously.
-
"Fortunately, no." He stepped away from her and pressed himself into the opposite elevator corner, as if somehow he could force himself through the walls and escape. Now that he had a moment to look at her, he realized how weird humans looked.
