Tis fine
Shay sighed and she ripped her eyes away from her Professors. "Well..." She started. "I met this guy last night and..." She didn't know how to go on. How could she? "You think you like him? Is this about a crush?" the professor spoke up.
The professor got an odd look from that statement and Shay shook her head. "What? No, you don't understand. This boy was crying and he told me he didn't want to live anymore. I helped him out last night but... But I've been very worried that he's going to hurt himself..." -
Okay. :)
"Dad.." he tried to talk, but he was interrupted by his father, who spoke in a cautious, soothing voice. "Griffin, I know what you're going to say, and you're really not fine, okay?" Griffin only stared, a tremor taking over his hands. His dad stood, going into his closet and searching around. Eventually, pulled a fleece blanket from the small space, heading over and draping it upon his son. Griffin settled into this blanket, his lip quivering as he gazed at the floor. "I'm sorry. I want to be okay," he insisted, swallowing heavily. "I know," his dad replied, a frown taking over. -
tee hee
The Professors face turned worried, yet soft as she looked at Shay. Shay cursed herself. She should have lied, came up with something else to say instead of telling the truth. She sighed and then turned around. "I should be going professor, I'll see you tomorrow," she said while quickly making her way out of the class room before her professor could say anything else.
WIth shaking hands Shay took out her phone and went to Griffin's number. She dialed his number and put the phone up to her ear, really hoping that he would answer the phone. -
hai
It was the ringtone that broke the deadly silence between child and parent. His father was generous enough to hand him the device, watching as Griffin looked over the caller identification. Since he had saved Shay's contact name, he recognized the title. He rose an eyebrow, but excused himself, answering the phone. His father crossed his arms, but remained quiet, and watched with interest.
"Hello?" Griffin greeted, his voice just barely above a whisper. He had hoped everything was alright, and that they were still on for the coffee shop. Even if he regretted making that decision to allow her to talk, he still felt as though she was too kind, and that he should at least talk to make her feel better. He listened in for a response, then, his eyes shimmering over. -
vas happenin'?
As soon as Shay heard Griffin's voice she instantly bombarded him with words. "Hey, are you okay? I've been having this really bad feeling about you, and I've just been really worried. Is everything alright? I'm really worried."
Shay felt just a bit stupid. She was talking really fast that it was almost hard to understand her, but she was just really worried. He was probably more than alright, and she was just worrying over nothing. -
i actually have to friggity frackin go bc homework
Griffin slightly gasped due to the astonishment of the sudden asking of questions. He held his breath for a moment, easing whatever anxiety had shot through him at that point. He realized what she was asking and replied, "I am okay. I am with my dad at the moment." He felt the need to mention an authority figure due the fact that having some type of watchful eye would prove to help calm the female down, at last he hoped. He pulled his knees to his chest, glancing over at his father as he cleared his throat in interst. The corners of Griffin's lips tilted, but in a matter of seconds, he looked miserable once agaib. This was because of how angry he was over pestering an innocent stranger with his personal problems. They were obviously bothering her, as well, because otherwise, she wouldn't have been calling in that tone of voice. -
fuk homework
but it's kk I understand ^-^
A sigh of relief escaped Shay's mouth after she heard Griffin explain who he was with. "Alright I just- good- good that you're good, I just- wow I sound stupid now." Shay let out an uneasy laugh as she was aware of how stupid she was sounding at that moment and she ran her fingers through her hair. "Y-you're sure you're alright though?"
She knew she shouldn't be asking him so many questions, but it was programmed in her nature. She leaned against the wall and waited for the poor boy to answer the fifty questions she had said in less than two seconds. -
i don't like it
Griffin hesistated to answer that particular query, because, no, he was not alright. What would be better, though? Telling her now that he felt like s---, or holding it off until later? Later. Later was always the better option, in his opinion. "Yes..I'm alright." His eyes drifted up and back to his dad, just to see the reaction, but, there was none. Griffin was taken aback, but said nothing. "Listen, I am busy with class at the moment. I will see you later on, at the coffee shop." -
Me either. But I get no homework for a while now since Christmas break is almost here ^-^ Well, I shouldn't be getting any work anyways...
"Oh goodness, did I interrupt your class? Wait, don't answer that, I'm sorry! I'll see you tonight at the coffee shop," Shay said just as the bell for the mark of class rang. "Bye Griffin." Shay pulled the phone away from her ear and looked down at it, waiting for Griffin to disconnect the line. She always hated being the one to hang up on someone, so she waited for him to do so. -
I hope you dont bc torture
Griffin bid her farewell and disconnected the call, silently placing his cell phone on his computer desk. He stood, keeping the blanket tightly wrapped around him. He started longingly at his father, who was furiously typing away on the screen of his BlackBerry. Griffin sniffled as the words he gad been expecting arose from his father's throat, "Griff, I'm so sorry. I have to go to the office. We can watch a movie some other time, okay?" The boy's face softened, and in protest, he murmured, "But it's your day off.." His father apologized once more, patting Griffin on the shoulders and hurrying away, leaving the teen to stare and sulk. -
vas happenin'?
After Griffin hung up, Shay slowly made her way to her next class. She knew hell was going to rain down on her as soon as she walked in because she was at least ten minutes late and she didn't have a pass from a teacher. She took a deep breath and walked into class. Shay was told to talk to the teacher after class and to take her seat and start taking notes because she'd 'be begging for it if she didn't.' -
Lucky check of GTQ
xD but aye
Griffin then got the crazy idea to try and cut, but he didn't. He instead collapsed onto his bed, hugging his pillow tightly. His eyebrows knit together as he gradually began to snivel. He coughed gently as he heard the front door close, and he proceeded to cry out. -
STALKER
(Just gonna skippy skippy on Shays part a bit)
Finally, she had survived until lunch break. Shay wouldn't have classes for another two hours since the class she wants to take is only available at a certain time. She quickly made her way to her room so she could make lunch, but something else was also tugging at her mind. Maybe she should call Griffin again...? -
YO BABY IM FINALLY REPLYING
Since Griffin's classes were finished by his scheduled lunchtime at twelve o'clock, he was in the kitchen, fishing through the refrigerator in order to find the prepared lunch his father always made for him. This lunch was always packed inside of a bright red lunchbox so that if Griffin wanted to eat somewhere other than home, he was allowed to. He spotted the firetruck color in the back, and he reached back and yanked it from the cold shelf. He gently closed the door, and sighed, grabbing his coat so that he could head to the park, where he would eat. He then contemplated whether or not he should bring something to draw or paint with. He chose not to as he headed out of the front door.
His phone rested in his pocket, the ringtone actually on so that he could hear anything important. Usually, he left the device on the computer desk, but lately, he assumed he would need it. As he made his descent, he glanced up at the rather sunny sky, but he did not smile. He only shrugged and made his march towards the park that was about six minutes away from the apartment complex. -
Yee ^~^
An idea popped into Shays mind but she wasn't very sure if it was a good idea or not. she looked at her phone and went to Griffins name in the contacts and she pressed on his name so his number appeared on the screen. she sighed. She felt stupid for even thinking of it, but she didn't care. With a touch of her screen she dialed his number and put her phone up to her ear and waited for him to answer.
(Sorry, on a tablet. Can't type for s--- on here)
