Marco was very quiet, while they finished climbing down, breathing out in relief when they made it to solid ground. "Thank god," he sighed, still holding his arms and legs tight around him. "Let's not climb any more trees."

Lucas hugged him tightly. "Don't go so high next time, you scared me." he said firmly, marching towards the house with Marco still in his arms. "You need to be more careful." he insisted, angry at himself for nearly letting him get hurt.

Marco hid his face in Lucas' neck, and kissed his skin apologetically. "I'm sorry, I won't," he said, "I'll be more careful." He felt bad for making Lucas come and get him, especially when he'd been so sure of himself about being able to climb.

Lucas hugged him even tighter, sighing. "Good. If anything happened to you... no, I can't even think about it. I can't lose you, okay?" Years of not being adopted at the shop had led to Lucas being terrified of being left alone. Marco was really the only person he was close to, so he couldn't stand it if something happened to him.

Marco nodded, his hands gripping tight into Lucas' shirt. He leaned back a little, touching their noses together. "I can't lose you either. So don't get hurt, no matter what."

Lucas finally managed a small smile, rubbing their noses together. "I won't. I promise." he'd taken him back up to their room and now collapsed on the bed, cuddling him close.

Marco was glad to hear Lucas promise this, as it helped him to be sure that Lucas wouldn't be gone like his brother. He hugged the other close, and pressed their lips together for a long kiss.

Lucas returned the kiss, but pulled away quickly. "Heat," he muttered. "Keep kissing me like that and we'll have to go again." he said, his voice low and rough.

Marco pouted out his bottom lip, looking at Lucas' soft lips longingly, but knew Kayleigh would be home soon. "Okay," he sighed, still pouting.

Lucas smiled, though he was disappointed as well. "Later," he promised. "We'll make sure Kayleigh knows that we need to be alone." he said, now very insistant on getting to be with Marco again. His heat was stirring, and while it wouldn't be strongest for another day or two, it was enough to make him significantly turned on from one kiss.

Marco was sad that he'd have to wait, but he knew it must be worse for Lucas since he'd already gone into heat. When he thiugh it out, in just another day or so, Marco would be in his as well, and with both of them iverlapping like that he knew they'd be like rabbits going at it. "Poor Kayleigh," he mumbled, thinking of how stressful it would be for her. "And poor Olivia too. We'll have to try to be quiet."

Lucas sighed dramatically. "Oh, but I love hearing you," he lamented. "The way you call my name, the little mews and moans..." he whispered into the fox hybrid's ear. "Maybe they'll just have to ignore the noise."

Marco suddenly turned very blushy, biting his lip. Just Lucas' deep, seductive words made him a little touchy. "Mm, we'll see," the fox hybrid said.

"I don't know if I can wait that long." he huffed, rolling his hips against Marco's. He pulled him closer and brushed his lips over his neck, nipping teasingly. "I want you, Marco," he moaned huskily.

Marco didn't want anyone to hear them, when the family got home, but Lucas grinding against him was just far too tempting. He moaned, just slightly, purring at the feeling on his neck.
