Lucky suddenly saw his face, and realized that it was Micheal. She sighed, but she was still trembling. Seeing the silhouette of an angel so close to her...she'd been sure that she was about to meet the same fate as her parents. Taking a deep breath, she glanced down guiltily. "Sorry for waking you up."
-
He grunted lightly and turned around, walking back to the guest room. "I just wanted a glass of water..." he mumbled loudly as he closed the door when he finally got to the room.
-
Lucky watched him go. His gruff nature made her nervous, he was probably just like every other angel. A rapist, or a killer, or some other awful thing. She shuddered and laid back down, curling up and trying to fall back asleep.
-
Michael flopped onto the bed gain and curled up on the covers, not even bothering to throw them over his body. He tried to close his eyes, but he still couldnt sleep.
-
Lucky thought about going to August, but her pride would never allow it. She'd simply have to try and sleep. After what seemed like forever, her eyes finally drifted shut again, and after a moment she was asleep.
-
Michael stayed up until a bit of light poured through the blind in the room. He sighed lightly and sat up. No sleep again, this wasnt good for him. He started to put hos shirt and jacket back on slowly.
Sion woke up and yawned a bit as she walked into the living room. She smiled at Lucky sleeping and glanced at the tv, growing paler than usual. -
August stepped out a few minutes later, his sandy-colored hair sticking up at odd angles. "Morning," He greeted with a yawn and a slight smile, getting himself a cup of coffee. "You want some?"
Lucky stirred at the sound of the others waking up, and lazily blinked her eyes open. "...Coffee." She mumbled to her brother, who nodded and grinned. "Sure." -
Sion didnt move from her spot from behind the couch as she watched a bit of news roll by on the screen. The barracks were attacked and barely anyone survived. She shook her head, knowing Michael wouldnt like this.
Speaking of Michael he walked into the living room and didnt glanced at he couch as he focused on the news. his eyes widened as he ran to the door, pulling it open and rushing quickly out of the building. -
Lucky's eyes widened as she suddenly saw what was on the tv. August frowned and shook his head. "This isn't good...Sion, you should go, they need you. Just remember, if you ever need a place to stay, you can come here, okay?"
-
Sion was already gone before August even said anything. She had to keep up with Michael. Her wings shot out of her back as she flew after him like a mad man.
Michael arrived at the barracks before Sion could even catch up to him, but as soon as he arrived, he could smell the golden blood of angels spilt every where. He walked in slowly and looked around at the few who were still alive and three rows of dead bodies covered in white sheets. -
forgot somethings)
He shook his head and looked down at the ground the rest of the way as he finally got to the commanders office, seeing that he was still alive. He nodded at the angel, but didnt say anything to him. The commander sighed lowly as he frowned. "I'm guessing you say the news from where every you were." He still didn't say anything. "But at least you and Deputy Sion are fine. I bet she is coming here soon. I dont need you two on the case, I need you both to hide, go somewhere safe like your town house." Michelael frowned lightly but nodded as he turned back around.
Sion showed up as soon as she saw him near the enterance again and she tilted her head curiosuly at him. "Well..?" He soon explained lowly that they had to hide somewhere which caused her to frown a bit at what he was saying. Hide wasnt something special forces do. -
Lucky was still fixated on the news, nervously watching. She hoped Sion would be alright... August was worried too, hoping that whoever or whatever had attacked the barracks would be gone before Micheal and Sion got there.
-
Michael gurmbled lightly as he glanced up to see a news helicopter fly over. He lifted his hand up slightly and waved a bit, causing the helicopter to sway in the air a bit.
Sion whacked his hand and growled. "Don't do that! Its rude to humans." She glanced up at the helicopter. "Although I feel a bit sorry for them happening to fly like that." -
The news tape went shaky for a moment as the helicopter wobbled in midair. Lucky sighed in relief as she caught a glimpse of two familiar angels on the screen. Augustsighed as well, glad that they both seemed unharmed.
-
He started walking away from the helicopter's view as he sighed. "Well are you coming with me or going back to the humans?"
Sion thought for a moment, did she really want to go back or go to Michael's town house. She shrugged. "Ill go back, you and I need to ide at seperate places." She smiled as her wings shot out of her back. She jumped up and soon was flying again towards August and Lucky's apartment.
