"It's not far," she said with a small smile, quickly setting off towards the apartment building. She practically dragged the angels inside, and knocked nervously on the door. "...August?" Only a moment later her brother answered the door, his eyes narrowed. "Lucky, where the hell were you? ...And who're they?" He asked, raising an eyebrow to glance at the two angels. "Well, I kinda sorta got attacked on my way home, and-" "Wait, what?" "But it's fine! These two saved me! And that's why I was so late..."
-
She blinked lightly and tilted her head at the girl's brother. He didn't seem like the person to yell at someone. "She is telling the truth, me and my partner here are apart of the special forces and well..." Micheal cleared his throat a bit. "Deputy Sion we better be going anyways, the barracks are going to close the doors soon." She sighed lightly and waved at them. "Have a safe rest of the night." Both of them started to walk away from the apartment.
-
"Wait," August called, running a hand through his hair and offering a small smile. "You two can spend the night here, if you like. We've got room." Lucky smiled at the two angels, hoping they would accept the offer.
-
Micheal was about to say no when Sion quickly chirped in. "Of course we'd be glad to stay!" He frowned a bit and shook his head, seeing Sion walk back over to the door. He followed after her slowly and unsure.
-
August smiled. "Good. Come in then. I'm August by the way, and my sister's Lucky. I'm guessing she didn't introduce herself." He led them into the apartment, Lucky following. She noticed Micheal's uncertainty and gave him a small smile. "Don't worry," She said softly. "It's only one night, right?"
-
Sion walked in after August and smiled warmly. She was a bit glad she didn't have to go to the barracks, the men there were insufferably rude. "Thanks, by the time we would have got to the barracks it would have been closed, even if we flew there."
Micheal sighed and nodded lightly, walking into the apartment carefully. "Thank you..." he mumbled a bit, his hair covering his eyes a bit. -
August grinned. "It's a good thing you ended up here then. I would offer dinner, but I can't cook...you like pizza?" He asked, tilting his head curiously.
Lucky shook her head. "No need to thank me, I should be thanking you. If you hadn't showed up..." She shook her head again and sighed. "Nevermind. But thanks." -
(Lucky, I made a thread for you in The Lounge, if you haven't seen it already.
Sorry for interfering with the soap. I'll leave now.) -
She shrugged lightly. "It sounds better than what they feed us at the barracks." She sighed a bit, glancing back at her captain. He seemed to look a bit uncomfortable to be in the apartment.
He nodded and went back to being silent again. This was a bad idea to stay at the apartment, his deputy should have stayed quiet and left the talking to him. He sighed a bit. "Just...take me to the room we'll be staying it, please. I'm not hungry." -
August nodded and grabbed the phone, dialing the resultant. Lucky glanced up at him with a slightly concerned look, but didn't argue. "This way," She said, grabbing his hand and leading him down the hall to the spare room. She would let Sion user her own room, and take the couch.
-
He pulled his hand away quickly and glared at her as he walked into the spare room. "Just because I saved you doesn't mean you have the right to touch me." He growled lightly and closed the door behind him, leaning against it carefully.
Sion watched them both leave curiously as she sighed a bit. Micheal was going to hate her for this, she did speak out of term. She glanced at August wondering what pizza he was ordering. -
Lucky blinked in surprise, staring at the closed door. She had only been trying to show him the way, she hadn't meant anything by it. She murmured a soft "Sorry," and a quick "Good night." Before going back out to August and Sion.
August pulled the phone away from his ear for a moment. "What kind do you like?" He asked with another smile. -
Micheal walked over to the bed and took off his trench coat and placed it carefully on the free nightstand. He was tired and hungry, but he didn't want to deal with the humans. He slid under the covers and kicked off his black boots. He lied awake for a moment.
Sion blinked lightly and though for a moment. "Well...I haven't had pizza in a while, so cheese sounds fine." She saw lucky walk back in through the living room. "Sorry about him, he's not a...human liking kind of person." -
August nodded and ordered into the phone, hanging up after a moment. "It'll be here soon."
Lucky shook her head. "No, it's okay..." August grinned. "It's funny that he doesn't like humans, because Lucky's actually afraid of angels." The younger girl blushed. "I am not! I'm not afraid of Sion..." -
How are you today kiddo?)
Sion blinked lightly at Lucky, a bit confused at why she would be even scared of angels. "We aren't scary, excluding the angels from earlier we are nice to humans." She sighed. "Humans how ever...they don't like us at all." Glancing at the girl for a moment. "Thats why he doesn't like humans much."
