He let out a sigh of relief. But, it was short lived, as he remembered that one of his dogs was out. "Would you like to head that way with me now? I have something I have to do, and I wouldn't mind showing you around while I'm at my house."
-
"Alright," Tim agreed, mouth speaking faster than his mind could think. Like any other day, he'd planned on only going to work, so he hadn't brought his white cane with him. Though, Mercury had said that he'd show him around, so he probably wouldn't need it anyway.
-
Mercury smiled, standing up. "Alrighty, then. I'll meet you at the front of the hotel with my car, okay?" Without waiting for a response, he took off. Mercury jogged the whole way to his car, completely and totally thrilled to be able to help someone, and a child, at that.
-
Tim got up after Mercury, going straight to the front doors of the hotel. He skipped a trip to the front desk to tell the woman working that he was leaving, since he was leaving with the manager anyway. He stepped out the double swinging doors, shuffling towards the curb and patiently clasping his hands together while he waited.
-
The man wasted no time in getting the car to the front of the hotel. He got out, and, after a moment of thought, put a hand on Tim's arm. "Here, the door is on the other side, so.." He smiled a bit, sighing softly.
-
Tim nodded softly, stepping forward and letting Mercury lead him to the side of the car. Really, he could have done it himself, if he wasn't concerned that the man provably had a really nice car that he wouldn't want Tim putting his hands on.
-
Marcury held the door open for him, wondering if he should do the thing that cops do, and place his hand on his head so that Tim wouldn't hit it. He decided against it, though, and allowed the man to get in the vehicle himself. He too got in, after returning to his side, and drove to his house- It was a short distance, so short that he normally walked, and only used the car when necessary. He actually had two cars. One at home, and one at work.
When he pulled into the driveway, both Clyde and Bonnie ran to the gate, barking and waiting for him. Zeke, though, sat silently outside the gate, waiting for him. -
Tim was quiet during the ride, but when the car stopped and he heard barking from outside of it, the man cringed. "Dogs?" He asked, though he knew the answer. He wasn't the biggest fan of the creatures, being as they had a tendency to jump on people out of nowhere if they wanted attention.
-
"Oh, yeah," Mercury chuckled. "Three of 'em. Big guys, two. Don't worry. I'll put Bonnie and Clyde up. Zeke'll show you to the gate." Mercury got out, and grabbed the leash he kept in the backseat of the car, calling the husky over. He hooked it onto his collar, leading the dog over to Tim's side, opening the door. "Don't worry, he doesn't jump on people. He'll lick you to death if you get your face close to him, though," He joked, holding the end of the leash close to Tim. "Just tell her to go home and she'll walk you over. Wait for me there, okay?" Without waiting for a response, he jogged off, to go put his dogs up.
-
Before Tim could question the trustworthiness of the dog, he heard Mercury's footsteps bounding away towards the dogs that were barking. The dog being his option left to getting to the house, he swallowed, and stated an unsure, "... Go home?"
Suddenly, he realized he should have stood up before he said this because the dog went right on walking. Tim was pulled into standing, narrowly missing hitting his head on the doorway. He had to walk pretty fast to keep up with the dog, or at least faster than he liked to be walking at a place he didn't know. -
Mercury opened the gate inward, to keep from letting Bonnie and Clyde out. He lead the dogs to the back of the house, putting them in their pens, making sure they had food and water. Then, he hurried back to the gate, to find that Zeke was waiting for him, sitting.
-
Tim followed the dog the whole way, feeling extremely glad when the leash went slack and he knew that he'd made it without running into anything. He held on to the leash, waiting for Mercury to return.
-
Mercury laughed at the look of relief on Tim's face. He walked over, taking the leash, smiling. "You know, you don't have to worry about Zeke getting you hurt. He's a good boy. It's Bonnie you have to worry about, she likes to cuddle." He paused, glancing over his shoulder. "I'll keep her pinned up when you're outside, though. Don't worry."

Tim nodded, his hands neatly at his sides. "Okay. Thank you, then," he mumbled, unsure what to say. "Uhm, are we gonna go inside?"
